I did mine this morning. Thanks , My mirror turned out great. I used a plastic scraper...it did not scratch.
I’m so delighted KZread recommend your Channel. I’m definitely going to try Antiquing my our mirror.

Absolutely luv it , great job
Oh, I love this DIY thank you.
Tip of the Day: Buy Mirror. Let it set in wet basement for about 5 years and no extra work required. The result is outstanding.

Have you ever added anything behind the mirror - I want to add some antique sheet music that will show through portions of it
Love this!!! Please do a DIY on open shelving in kitchens!
This was really helpful and simple. Thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial! I’m going to give this a try. 😀
Loved the tutorial on your mirror. It turned out so nice. I would love to see more of your techniques, go to products and go to tools. You did a great job in this video explaining your technique. You always make it look so easy and you complete your projects so quickly. You sold a coffee table about 4-6 weeks ago that you had tons of holes/dings with filler. What filler would you use for that project and when would you have just sanded the finish. I would love to see your thought process and close ups of the problem areas. I know those are such basic things, but for a beginner like me it would be very helpful! Love your channel, blog and Instagram.!!!!
Really helpful and really effective - thank you.
Thanks for this. Great tutorial.
just finished my mirror i am extremely happy it looks awesome. thank you :) 💕
Beautiful love it!!🐸
I love, love, love this tutorial!! I've watched a ton of videos on antiquing a mirror, and your has the most authentic look of all! These mirrors lend so much personality to your bedroom makeover. Everyone can have something that looks like a time-worn antique but is only a contemporary mirror.
Many thanks! I'll try that
Loovveee this!!!! Keep them coming!!!♥️
awesome tips...thanks
Really great idea . Modern mirrors just look to bright if you're trying for the vintage or antique look . Thankyou x
Great video!
You are a genious! I did follow your steps and my mirror looks stunning! Thank you! Shame I can't send you the pics of my mirror, it looks epic!!
Awesome. Great work. Ready to do mine and without the acid 🙌
I love the idea!! I have a mirror. It is simple but very very large with no frame.. I was thinking about tossing it and getting a new mirror.. these ideas helped me to rethink ❤
GORRRRRGEOUS.
Nice work Jenna. Thanks for the info. I'm hoping to use this process soon in combination with glue-chipping. Cheers.
Wow... You are amazing. Thank you so much.
Jenna Sue got right to the point. She explained what was easy and what would take practice. The background music was just right. There was a great balance between seeing Jenna and seeing the project in progress. This all built my faith in her, and I'm going to subscribe!
Beautiful. And the video was nice too 😀
This is amazing! Redoing my cabinets to look like old grey shaker style and wanted to do a couple accent doors. Like the half ones for the spices. So going to try this! Hope my gf likes it! Lol she wont
Good job you're lucky is looking at the mirror
Love it! Any ideas on how to achieve this but on mirrored furniture, such as removing the back isn’t possible?
can’t wait to make my own antique mirror this beautiful sunday afternoon! would love to see a video on how to create an antique effect on metal furniture 💕

Spray muratic acid then spray clear coat over it
I love it too.
LOVE
Love all your videos ❤️. Please do a detailed video on painting furniture with chalk paint and using a sealing wax. Thanks!
Thanks for doing the trial and error process for us! The results are remarkable! I love the idea of using gold and bronze. How would you suggest making it look veined? Maybe using a feather to apply the Clorox? And what do you do after spraying Clorox --- let it air dry, pat it dry, or rinsing it off?
Have u tried any just glass? For the "Antique" look? Fabulous Mirror! Thank You!
Lovely Eyes, great project thanks 👍
Great video. Thanks for such awesome tips. Qq. Can I roll black paint in the back instead of spraying it?? Right at the end I mean. Thanks.
I'm wanting to do a large project with 16"x18" mirrored tiles. Do you have an online resource that has the "silvered" backing on the mirrors? Thanks so much for your tutorial! Beautiful mirror!!
Great tutorial. Wondering if this method might work on convex acrylic mirror? I haven’t bought one yet, so I’m not sure if they have the same kind of paint backing...
Great 👌
Well done
I need help on my vinyl record hanging planters. I put a twine through the holes to hang them together. I was thinking about just screwing them on a board from an old picket fence and hang the board like a swing as an alternative.
This is a GREAT and Beautiful video... Note: next time leave out the background music or turn it down lower... You have a beautiful soft voice and the background music made it hard to hear you at times. We just want to HEAR YOU Talk. Thank you for sharing this great video.
Beautiful! Where did you find the mirrors, I really like the shape?
Thank you for this informational tutorial. I need help, when I’m diluting the bleach (Clorox) and spraying it it’s not doing any reaction. I tried to use it non diluted, same, no reaction. Only if I pour it directly onto the mirror with large quantity, this is when it works. But this way I cannot get a subtle effect, only large spots of distressing. Any advice?
It s Beautiful *-* 😺
Worth trying as the company sent me an estimate starting from 180 euros per sq/m for similar effect
Very nice, thank you. You didn't put the mirror back in yourself did you?
Thx Merci beaucoup 😀👌🇨🇦✌
When I did my bleach and wiped off like your instructions it stripped all the mirror off and you can see where i wiped it. should i blot instead so it doesn't mess up the pattern? Mine ended up with just large streaks every where not just dots
Hello, I have a question what paint do you use?Actylic or oil? Thank you:)
Where did you get the mirrors above your nightstands?
Thanks Jenna, much better method than the harsh chemicals,
Ciekawe czy ma znaczenie jakiego wybielacza użyjemy? Efekt świetny 🙂
What gold color did you use on mirror frame after ?????? Please
OMG tganjisoooo much! QUESTION..... I'm new to your channel so I haven't seen all of your videos yet, but I'm wanting to try and get this same effect on a clear window. Do you have any idea how I can get that?

Thanks for the video, Foe some reason bleach did not work on my mirror. it was very strange. It worked on 3-4 spots quickly after like 15 minutes and those spots turn out fine, but didn't work on rest of mirror. I tries again and again and again, no luck. I even left the bleach on overnight and still no sign of work. do you know why it worked on some small parts and did not work on the rest ? TIA
I used plastic putty knives. Worked well.
is there anyway to do this with the front? sounds weird but we have mirror walls dont wanna take them down
@bolledesign

Anne Smith, It’s not possible to do it from the front unfortunately .
@jungsomewhat

but you could spray black paint on the front after using and acid etch..
What is the chemical name of bleaching mixed here one part in spry bottle
Clever girl very pretty mirror now
🤩👏👏👏👏
Do you know if this technique is achievable if you spray paint will rustoleum mirror effects, let dry, and then spray with bleach? I have glass window I want to make into a mirror with an antique finish. Thanks so much. This is the best example of an truly antique look.

Spray with alcohol while still wet.
Look absolutely beautiful. I didn't have laundry bleach but I did have Clorox Clean-up - worked like a charm. I can't wait to do another one.
wait did you do all of this to the BACK of the mirror?
Nice job on the mirror, it looks authentic. You are easy on the eyes as well 😉
I have tried it twice and it does not work for me... I can get the backing of with paintstrippers easily but the bleach does nothing... even if it is not diluted with water and sits for 10 min. I live in Denmark and the bleach is Natriumhypochlorit... do you have an other kind of bleach in the States?

The bleach isn’t working for me. In your video you say ”wait a few minuets”. I’ve been trying for over 30+. What am I doing wrong? :/

Can you do me a favour . How to make an antique mirror from clear glass
Where are you from? Cann you show me personally?🥰
Love the result! But hate the music why not leave that? I like to listen to my own music while watching video's!
No harsh chemicals like Muriatic acid, *instantly pulls out paint stripper which is a base equivalent of HCL*, lol, handy hint with the bleach tho.

Citrus stripper is much more eco friendly than most.
Good video, just wish we didn't have to listen to the mind numbing backing music while you talked.
You have scary, but beautiful eyes!
>no harsh chemicals >bleach and citristrip
AMAZING... People those mirrors are SUPER expensive
Ironically I was searching how to clean up the very spots you are creating
I think the paint stripper removed too much 😭
Are your eyes ok?
How to ruin a mirror
Nice video, but your eyes why so serious 🤗
Your eyes are so wide open! My question is what kind of drugs are you using? Lol
I’ve never seen someone with there eyes so wide open.
As if what you re using are not harsh chemicals

Fire up DMT vape pen and get real.
