@@greenhurricane5518 the reviewer flip card card 1 acts as the space bar. I just made the letter “m” as the shortcut for the spacebar.

Could you do a video on how to set this up for the iPad? I have it set up, the 8BitDo is connected and clicking on the buttons does the same thing, regardless of the button, even though in my Anki settings, I have the correct settings for X, A, B, Y to again, hard, good, easy.

hi I'm having problem with the space bar configurator- the m letter doesn't work for me as it gives me an error when I open anki (saying the m letter will not work). Can you please help me troubleshoot this?

Update: I couldn’t get the add on to work. I ended up using that app she mentioned to configure my keys to another key. Found out my Anki defaults to Enter = see card Only then can I select any key 1-4 to pick difficulty So I adjusted the side button for my “enter” to see the card then adjusted each one of the arrows to 1-4 to correspond with Anki’s normal settings. Works like a charm.

this is gold. wow. so simple. but lets say i forget my remote, can i go back to using 1234 and space on my keyboard or do i have to refigure the whole thing again?

hi a person with a windows computer here. The program that she recommended isn't available for windows so I just put the "L-Button" as the easy one and control it with my hand. (and tbh I'm too lazy to search for another program or use code or sth like that lol) edit: I changed the "reveal-button" to the "L-Button" and the easy one to the "R-Button" bc I'll probably use it not so often

⁠​⁠​⁠@@mdphdloading5235i used the add on she showed us. so you have to type in the code, then restart your anki program, then click on „custom keyboard configuration“ (or something along the lines) and then configure

Hi! Great video but im still struggling to configure my space bar with Anki. When I close Anki after I edited in the Tools section it gives me a warning "the shortcut xyz will not work, please change this in the configure.json" ? Do you have any ideas? Thank you!

The spacebar should automatically be the letter "m" for your keyboard shortcut. Try another letter for a shortcut and see what it says. If that doesn't work, let me know.

Hello, Please do help on 8bitdo. When i charge 8bitdo, how can i know the charge is full ? The manual is very confusing. Does blue color means fully charged ?

If you charge it for 2-3 hours, it should be fully charged. The blue color means that it’s turned on.

can someone PLEASE help me set up the space bar. i want my A button (g) to be space, and my B button (j) to be 4. i changed reviewer choice 4: to j. and it works. i changed reviewer flip card 1: "g" and it doesnt work!!! its driving me nuts!!

Don’t know if you figured it out but “reviewer more options” is set to “M” and it will not map the same letter to two different functions, that’s what’s causing the error. All you have to do is switch that key from M and then switch the flip card to M and it will work.

My "A" button is not working. It correlates to "G" on the keyboard and I want it to correlate it to "good" on anki. I tried changing it to another letter with elements however it is not working, can anyone help?

Autohotkey is the best program period for windows. After you use Autohotkey for a while. You'll get very interesting in coding even tho you were never interested in it in the first place. This is a example of swapping keys to another key A swapped with Space. a::space A is now the space key. You can get more advanced then this over time but this is how you do a simple key swap.

Hello, your easy button was not working because you mapped it as Q but it is actually G.
