this is something new for me, i have never tried this before , little confusing but i'll definitely going to try this. if you explained the concept instead of just showing would be more appreciated. but i got the idea. what to do. because some sheet metal parts are more complex then this. so i need to clear the concept first.
Can Solidworks also calculate the material "shrinkage-allowance" of the disc outside diameter? (a sort of flatpattern for deepdrawing...) I suppose one could just calculate a ball park disc blank outside diameter by using the volume of the final product and figure out what size flat disc will match to that in volume.

Yes but You need to install additional software such as logopress into Solidworks
