is it possible to set ease for drawing substitutions?

Nah TB can't draw frames for you, for frame by frame animation you'd have to draw the eases yourself. You can animate it's peg and fake some followthough/anticipation but you're only limited to squash/strectch/skew/scaling the image as a whole but for those pose to pose youtube info style cartoons you could probably get away with it.

Hey I have some doubts in the toon boom whenever I move the peg with the transformer Tull It's snep not working smoothly can please tell me why

Thanks. I’m trying to animate a drone that flies into view and then shoots a laser. I had planned to use drawing substitutions with the first drawing blank and then a sequence of the laser shooting out. What’s the best way to do this so that i can utilize easing?

Simply put a peg on it and animate that. :)

But when i change the drawing (to show the laser being fired) it changes the artwork for all the frames. I know im missing something basic - do you cover something comparable in one of your videos? I understand moving pieces around with the peg but the laser is different bc it doesn’t appear before or after being fired. Hopefully this makes sense
