Well said! Absolutely right
I worked in Clip Studio for a long time in Animation, here’s a couple of things! If you want to easily Copy+Paste parts of your drawing, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND always using groups/folders for your frames!! Instead of merging your layers outside of the animation folder. The fill/paint bucket tool also has a “Close Gap” setting where you can fill colors, even with gaps in your lines. I really like using Clip Studio for animation because I’m very used it as I use it for illustrations as well. It’s not too robust in animation and hope they add essential features in the future, like the scrubbing you mentioned! Last thing I wanna say is that the max pixel height for exporting a gif is 2000px and the max height for making a movie is 1080px. That’s why I’m trying Harmony more and to play with audio more! EDIT: Also what is really helpful is that Animation Folders can Clip onto other layers and folders. This is really helpful when you want to add shadows to your colors.

I've been looking for a tutorial on how to properly copy paste into an animation layer for a while now and you covered it at 8:42. Thanks you so much !
I love how friendly and energetic you sound, even though I was suffering from lack of sleep, I was focused in and was finding this highly enjoyable! Thank you very much!
You saved me with this one, man! Straightforward and evenly paced, the camera tutorial got me so excited to try out and experiment. Animating on CSP is way less daunting than before, thanks to you!
I have watched so many animation tutorial videos, and watching this one, i finally understand it better! so many people make videos assuming we know all the terms they use and know exactly where certain settings are. You explain it very well, and really asnwer the questions all of us complete begginers have, THANK YOU!!

Excellent Video! Pure information, pure meat, no fluff. I keep going over this video again and again! Love the way it is divided by small segments so a person can go to a segment they want to learn. Easy to understand and communicated well........The only problem is my brain trying to soak up that knowledge. I'm getting it though and hopefully the whole thing will click into place. Thank you very much Jesse!
Just got my Wacom Intuos as a beginner & this software. I've been wanting to try animation since I was little & today I can finally try. Thank you for the tutorial & let begin this journey

Great video! Thanks for helping me get started! Btw - "close gap" in tool properties for the fill tool helps a lot with lines that aren't touching and it's adjustable. :)

Thanks dude, rhis is gonna be a fun 3 months on this software, and definitely gonna get a year subscription and work on my animation and drawing stuff. Love the video bud.

Fantastic tutorial, goes through a lot of the questions or barriers someone would have while grappling with some of the less intuitive interactions in the interface, and even more unexpected useful stuff. The timeline organization button as well was completely foreign to me until this video and it's probably the biggest gripe I had with CSP trying to grapple blindly, thinking I'd have to adjust all my layer names as I went if I put cels in random frames. Also, you sound very similar to the square hole guy.
