Hey, I wonder - how would you go about setting up a handbag? I was playing with rigid bodies and cloth sims but can't seem to be able to make a bag (rigid body), that is hanging on a strap (cloth), that you could use for a character animation. Any ideas? Thanks, great tutorial.

What if i want to make Bended Chain ? How can i apply Empty Array. Cause if i set Array Offset object Empty - it will array in Straight line. How to make it bend ?

Hi! Thank you for your tutorials. I have one question. How can I make this kind of animations last more than 250 frames? I am using last version of blenders and if I just increase the frame rate it contiues stopping at 250 frame. Has it something to do with baking?

Bake the simulation to keyframes and export it

Even if i put the hook in front of the textile effect it does not control the chain at all.

WHAT DID HE DO WITHTHAT WEIRD GIMMICK WITH THE EMPTY AND THE ARRAY???!!! oO Never seen that why that somehow makes the array add rotation???

Great tutorial but I had trouble following how you got rid of the bake to allow the strip to follow the hook again. I know its probably something quite simple but could you please explain. Thanks

Changing any setting in the Cloth panel or go in to to the cache tab and remove all bakes.

always remember to apply rotation and scale to both mesh and empty before you apply modifiers or arrays - that should fix your problem!

how do you move the hook during playback? I can't even select the hook.

Make sure you are in object mode. Which you should be, since in edit mode the chain won't move when you play.

@@TopChannel1on1 which version you used for this as moving cloth modifier up the hook modifier not working in version 3.0.1 , and curve doesn't move with hook .. fast response will be highly appriciated .. thanks
