A quick how-to video on how to upgrade your Ford Sync system to run Android Auto and Apple Carplay on your 2016+ Ford Fiesta & other Ford models.

If you want to enable Carplay, you will need this part:
HC3Z-19A387-B
On 2015 and older Fiesta models (and other Ford models with My Ford Touch) you will need to physically replace the head unit with a Ford Sync compatible one before doing this upgrade. You will need to purchase EITHER of the following parts if you want to do this on a vehicle with My Ford Touch (2015 or older Fiesta for example). Again, 2016 or newer does not require this.
No Navigation - G1BT-14G370-BM
With Navigation - G1BT-14G370-CL OR G1BT-14G370-BL

Does the carplay and AA in this only work when the phone is plugged in via USB or also with bluetooth?

Only with the cable unfortunately.
Hi, I know this is old but I have tried to update my 2016 Fiesta ST but an error message pops up stating "the installation has run out of space or does not work with this version" I confirmed we have the same version. Would you be able to help?
