#1 Exchange an opponent’s strong piece for a weak piece in your game 1:45 #2 Occupy holes/weak squares that your opponent can’t defend 3:07 #3 Look for outposts defended by our pawns and that can’t be attacked by pawns easily (esp. for your knights) 3:52 #4 Open the position if you are more developed or have the initiative (pawn breaks/advance/attacks) 4:59 #5 Make an inactive piece in your game more active 6:26
