@lkystryke You can use Airplay to screen share as well.

For some reason after i input the 4 digit code, it keeps asking me for it like i put in the wrong code. No matter how many times i do this it will not work

I’m having the same problem, but I’m not sure what to do with regards to checking off the security boxes. I have a new TV, Sony Bravia VU31 And I’m trying to mirror LiveBarn from my iPad onto the TV. No luck. Any suggestions?

When i click the code on my phone its request it again and again no matter how many times i enter it , what can i do ??

my tv says mirroring??it is older model but what it keeps asking for wifi connection but no way to do anything,too confusing.

@bebetigre12 If it's an older model it may not have AirPlay built in. Mirroring is displaying your phones screen on the TV and requires both products to be on the same WiFi network. That may be why you're seeing that notification. Yeah I can’t find any of those options on my Sony Bravia it maybe 2-3 years old but it’s a smart tv😅🤷🏻‍♂️

@supreme__1862 You need to have an Apple product with AirPlay to be able to use the feature with your Sony TV. It's a way to stream your Apple device's screen onto the TV.

How about android? How to screen mirroring in sony?

@keving1774 Airplay is a feature that is found on Apple products, but is accepted by other brands, like Sony TVs.

It will allow me to cast show from KZread but not from the internet...when I try all I get is audio and no video. How can I fix this?

@blackdynamit84 It's hard to say what might be causing that to happen. We suggest making sure your TV and phone software is updated to the most current versions first. If you've done that and you're still having trouble, you may need to try resetting the TV to factory settings. Also, if you haven't recently, try restarting your phone. Not resetting, but just restarting it. Hopefully one of these works for you!

@@abtelectronics I have the Sony xr-85x90k I just did the update on the TV and the update on the iPad. I can air play KZread video no problem. But if I go online and try to cast a video from a website all all I get is audio and no pictures. I don't have that issue when I use my android phone. So I was confused to why and if there was another solution 🤔

@blackdynamit84 That's a tricky one. If you've done all the updates and it's still not working, try turning off the AirPlay feature on the TV then turn it back on and try again. An Android phone will typically use Chromecast to send the audio and video. It's possible that the website you're trying to cast from has some sort of copyright protection that's affecting the iPhone/AirPlay feature and preventing the video from being sent to another device. If we can find any other solutions to try we'll be sure to update you in the comments.

And also I can airplay from the iPhone to my sharp roku tv from the same website that I normally watch movies from. So it must be a Sony thing 🤔
