Good to see pilot and stand included in the kit. Love the smooth brush application of acrylic paint. Great tutorial.
Airfix makes the best planes and the parts fit together perfectly 😂 keep up the good work Airfix 😊
Best Starter set yet.. Fantastic model kit!!
Hands down the best starter set you guys have ever released; thoroughly enjoyed making mine! Love that this video is there for newcomers! 💜💜
These tutorials are great. Wish they'd been around in may day.
It’s a brilliant kit! All the parts fit perfectly. Both beginners or experienced modeller’s will enjoy this model. The shadow base is a superb idea. I built mine hovering and I’ve got another to build flying. Great model Airfix
I’m getting this soon can’t wait
very very interesting video and a great help thank you.
I just bought this in the set with the spitfire as well. I can’t wait to finally build it!
These are fabulous How To’s keep em coming air fix ty
Agree these tutorials are outstanding. Can you please make the Cutty Sark ship model. Favorite of mine. Thanks.
I know this sounds like a demand, but I'd love more ww2 military vehicles and aircraft for quickbuild for 2024. I wish that could happen.

WW2 is way too oversaturated in model kit companies tbh. I’d like to see more modern stuff
very helpful
Nice 👍👍👍
Why doesn't every kit come with stands like this? It's great!
I really liked this one. Dare say Airfix could use it as a start point for a more detailed version at some point. I'd like to see a flat brush in the set for painting larger areas.

I agree, definitely. I'd love a kit that was a bit more intricate and detailed for sure
a drop of fairy liquid will negate surface tension issues
Is this kit able to be built in the inflight mode with gear down?
If anyone wants a version with more detail, Italeri are releasing their 1/72 version soon.
Which paints are they as there's two 164's listed on my box. I'm assuming it's 163, 164 and 165?
When will this kit be available on Amazon in the U.S.?
Ah but that tool set is no longer available from Humbrol.. they replaced a knife with wooden stirring sticks sadly...
When is airfix going to make a new HMS Belfast
So this is a starter set, but you are still supposed to have a palette? I've been modeling for 30y and never had a palette. But yeah, have been thinking about buying one)))

TBH for a palette I'd suggest anything with compartments such as a fridge icecube tray. As the video suggests though one could be made from bits of the model box. Anyway it's not saying you're /supposed/ to have one, just that for a beginner it makes life easier.
When is this starter set on sale,I know its out with the Spitfire at the moment but I am not a fan of the Spitfire?

@@OfficialAirfix Thanks I will check my LMS today.
Guys when are you gonna start exporting to india 😵💫😭😭😭😭
I use just 1 thick coat of paint 😂
paint in one direction ....nose to tail ...not crossways . less is more as far as paint goes I wouldn't use 3 coats .
I'm sorry, but given that this is supposed to be a tutorial for those new to the hobby, it might be useful if the person performing for the camera got the correct tool for the job and learned how to use it the correct way.
