I love that glitter! Thanks for teaching how to use the airbrush. I have had one for two years and didn’t know how to use it until now!

When you mentioned windex for cleaning an airbrush, I instantly went back to something I learned from a professional Halloween/movie prop masters video. They actually used windex as their paint thiner for acrylic paints for their airbrushing. I tried it, and it worked really well and cleaned up even better from all the airbrush parts.

Ooh the purdy glitter🥰🥰 I definitely need to get back into airbrushing.. I have the gun, just need the compressor (unless I go work out in the shop)

I just got my airbrush and this video gives me the confidence to try it out. My question is: is airbrushing a good alternative to spray paint as a base coat on tumblers? I have a really hard time controlling spray paint because of dexterity issues and my husband thought the airbrush would be a good alternative.

I would not completely replace spray paint with the airbrush - airbrush is not ideal for larger coverage, not to mention I love my spray paint as well

I have just started doing Tumblers after mothers day of this year. I love the bullet tumblers and have made a few but had a hard time wrapping one up with an entire vinyl pattern because it wasn't uniform in shape. I google searched and all the vinyl wrapped cups I saw were on uniformed shaped tumblers .. not sure if uniformed is the right word.. but it sounds like it is. If you could perhaps do a video showing how to vinyl wrap on a tumbler that isn't even shaped I would appreciate it :). Ps I love glitter, I havent got to dabble with glitter much. Pss your videos I enjoy, you teach cool things and have a super laid back attitude which is awesome!!

I wouldnt recommend it, mainly because I just paint them and not typically wrap tham with vinyl

Thought I'd take your instructions to heart, glad I did. I used the last of my glitter and well I found out you CAN shoot glitter! For about 1 second 🤣. Out of glitter and tearing down the brush for the cleaning part of "why would I have tried that"?

Love ur video, never thought about airbrush.. I have a makeup airbrush I think it might work for this! Ever try to put any glitter in the airbrush? It might make a mess, but then there would be "Glitter in the air" 😉

it's tough to get good even coverage painting the whole base coat with an airbrush unless you are doing a fade or different colors. For one solid color I woud prefer to use spraypaint. I have a larger standup compressor, but I also have the one I use the most that I get from Hobby Lobby 12 years ago. It was like $250 but its still kickin

Just watched this video for the first time and it seems super helpful! I am JUST starting out with airbrushing my tumblers and was wondering about using acrylic paint to base coat (bc of the spray paint lack-of). I have a flow improver, but I am wondering about whether I need a primer on my tumblers for airbrushing them?
