My wife tries to get me to paint with her but I know the outcome, and it is not art. but watching you and the things you do are so hilarious and informative that I just want to try it. and I already have the Dawn drizzle and the power wash. Now i just need the spray paint.

The orange, and.yellow were too high on the bristles and didn't contact the surface when doing the rainbow!!!

that "block " at the top of the bristles is the adhesive they pour to keep the bristles in the brush
another tip, my stepdaughter paints houses, and she uses the green frog tape for crisp lines, but if she doesn't have it she just lays down the tape and puts a very thin layer of any crap caulk she has over her tape and the edge to be painted, but you should scuff pad the area or the paint will most likely peal off to the edge of the caulk, i've seen that happen
i ground the end off of a thin screw driver into a point ( like a nail) and punch holes through the trench where the insert ridge of the lid goes , and the paint will drain back into the can, and the lid will still seal, i paint cars , car paint is really pricey anymore , so my boss is very happy with my hack because he saves on material, also , if that auto paint was reduced , you might get a vapor explosion from the fumes outgassing from the can, even un-reduced might do it, i smoke around that stuff all day and have never had a fire , not even with laquer thinner, but i won't smoke around even small amounts of gasoline , that shit WILL explode , especially if confined in a container ,trust me don't try it out of curiosity,it will bite you in the ass

i attempt to do the rain drops on canvas. A FAIL, tried again ANOTHER FAIL. I figured out on a painted canvas you need to spray a coat of clear varnis or sealant so that the water is not absorbed into the canvas...worked great. thanks man

Painting with melted wax is called"Encaustic"
You also could try melting some metallic crayons or mixing some metallic eye shadow (from dollar stores) into the melted crayon before it dries.Or you could mix some glitter into the melted crayon before it dries
You could also try firm canvas board

Actually, a good trick is to, when finished spray painting, put your cap onto a w-40 can and use that to clean your cap.
