I have a suggestion for these type of tutorial videos: Mention the fact that you need to train flexibility on setups as well as setting up from very fast balls and multiple situations other than simply rolling balls up the wall that happen to be lined up with a big boost. Air mechanics are pretty worthless if you need more time to set them up than your opponents will give you (ball chasing/insta-challenge is very common and the players who do it only get faster as you rank up). I think this kind of content is great to have for new players but its also just as important to showcase the true difficulties of translating these mechs into an actual game, which is what makes pros shine brighter and brighter the more you understand quality touches and quick setups. Keep it up though!

I would just suggest trying these set ups in 1v1 against an oppenent. That gives it the challenge of overal game sense

I’ve watched a lot of these, and this one finally worked. I’m also super glad he mentioned “because it looks cool” as one of the reasons to learn the mechanic. All of these kinds of videos put a disclaimer like “if you want to rank up, air dribbles are not important, you should focus more on…”, but I just want to use the flashy move cause it’s fun, not cause it’s better.

Good tutorial, also good tip is to let go of boost before contact with the ball mid air to prevent pushing it away from your car, but after that tiny tap you want to boost again to keep up and let go again before contact.. and you're good to go :)

I’ve found that air rolling whilst air dribbling was getting me more consistent attempts/goals and I’d struggle more with just a regular air dribble, I never knew the name for it but I could feel it when practising, Gyroscopic Stability thanks.

I suck at the air dribble mechanic but this helps me a lot

I have a hard time setting up the shot on free play at the moment. I use Wayton air dribble pack to get use to the set up. Even then it's hard to hit it exactly towards the goal. I just need practice lol. That's the secret.

Challenge when both of these are met - you're comfortable in your odds of winning -failure of the challenge won't get you scored on. To train find some striker packs that put the ball close to you and slightly in the air. If you reply to this I'll find the code for one I recommend

I’m ngl I think you should make another one focused on switch players since those are the Main console that have a larger majority who cannot preform airdribbles (I suggest doing a pro controller video*)

It’s much harder for us switch players to do air dribbles

Man I learn this then rather math and improve my grade in that class but I choose to do this. (Math is the only class I’m failing all other subjects were ballin)

i was watching this vid while trying the tips out and i started of with the right side, so air roll right and then steer left up to get your nose down and centered. But i fail to understand why u say that with air rol left you have to steer bottom left, cause that is the opposite from the other side. I think you confused the bottom left steering part for when u do the same thing but with directional airroll. cause with air roll left i have the same outcome as the other side if i steer right up. Is it possible or am i missing something? damn im bad at explaining what i mean, hope u understand my explanation

I did understand and made a comment about the same thing. So on left wall he said air roll left + joystick down left but I think he meant air roll left + up right

Honestly thank u I practiced for a few min and I sort have got it but the controls in the air are difficult to put in my brain you know. But other wise I sorta made my first air dribble in a match and I scored but only problem it touched the ground

No. Point blank. If you do that then you cant power slide cut. Can’t recover as smoothly. And can’t air-roll (not directional) without boosting

Jump, hold back on the stick a bit like you’re jumping off the ground. Then air roll and start feathering boost.

I’m airdribbling high now

Sometimes when I jump (setup on wall) my car just hits the ball and doesnt actually jump in the air. How can I fix it?

For switch players air dribbles are easier than normal dribbles 😅

i do exactly what the damn video says EVERY TIME and i still cannot air dribble no matter how much practice i have

fun fact: there's another (albeit not super relevant) reason why air rolling during air dribbles is helpful. The car spins at different speeds on different axes, pitch is actually the slowest, roll is obviously the fastest, and yaw is in the middle, so by turning your car on it's side your pitch adjustments will actually be a little faster (but overall this just isn't really relevant at all and tbh just doesn't matter) this is a fun fact, not a helpful fact 😉

This did not help me the reasons are 1 I followed the steps and the ball kept hitting the roof when I timed it correct 2.The car is moving away when I’m aiming it and air rolling to it 3.The set up isn’t really that great it keeps sending the ball too far away
