    After installing a camber kit (rear) on my 00 civic I took it to get an alignment, told him about the kit. Afterwards he said “who installed them”? I said “I did” he sai “holy shit what did u use to align them?” I said “my eye” he says “bro, I don’t need to adjust it at all, you got it spot on!” Don’t know if I just have a good eye, or just got lucky. But it was pretty bad ass to hear him say that. “Pimp glasses on” lol

    Hello, nice video Thanks .... What is the driving behavior after the conversion? Can I even just install the front of the camber adjustment screws ? Or is it advisable to make the conversion front and back? I drive an OEM suspension on my Honda Civic EP3 Type-r..... Best regards

    +Avincii Pan It is possible to only do one side, depending on which side quires alignment more. How it handles and drives depends on how it's set. It's best to have an alignment shop set it to a correct setting. In most cases, the OEM suspension will not require these parts. Please have an alignment shop double check to see if it requires an alignment kit.

    do you guys have a d2 coilover soften/stiffen ride quality video? not just the 36 way dampening adjustment but to actually stiffen up the springs?

    +Doomerism spring rates are pretty much set and can't really be adjusted. You can compress the spring more, but would become increasingly uncomfortable to drive and may result in different spring rates which is bad for performance as well.

    Even without lowering springs civics and im speaking 8th /9th/10th gens have a small amount of negative camber People going into the dealerships with fairly new cars after getting new tires and balancing and alignment done and still getting scalloped tires frustrated why the inner tires are wearing out Simply the reason I got these on my 10th gen civic si and I’m not lowered but to get the most even wear out of my tires 👍🏼 Positive camber in the rear is the key

    Shouldn't be any uneven wear from factory. Might have something that is bent within your suspension.

    Do you think most alignment shops can set the camber up correctly with these arms?

  • @procivic

    @procivic

    Most alignment shops are familiar with these camber kits and should be able to set it. However, we recommend to always speak with the shop to confirm they are familiar with them.

    I put adj.camber rear arms on my '06 civic.Set it up by eye and took it to local Firestone.Alignment guy was being a jerk saying he doesnt have a spec.After telling him to set it a little neg.-1/2 degree and that I did hundreds of alignments in the late '70's early '80's he set it up.Telling him to use some common sense helped.

  • @procivic

    +Parth Patel The suspension on the Accord is completely different, and a different arm would need to be adjusted. The overall concept is the same, but the arms being adjusted are different.

    If the wheel is being worn out from the inside, you may have too much negative camber. Ensure you take it to an alignment shop and purchase a camber kit if they show it needs one.

    +Kristian Underwood These will be able to add some negative camber, but not a lot. Most of the options we carry are mainly for correcting camber.
