That was a great video. It showed a lot more than the segments. That was the first time I saw someone get into the hammock with the Turtlebug. That told me a lot. Ingenious design.

i love the look of that for outdoors.. but I don't have enough room to use it in my bedroom *and* have room for a long hammock. I'll wait to see what the re-engineered Cricket looks like... though I already have a Hive set up in that same bedroom.

I already pledged for the camper stand. Now, I want a fabric chair with cushions, too(sans stand). Are they going to be sold separately?

You can add the chair to your pledge under add ons.

I'm a tall guy and I use a 12 ft hammock. Would I be able to add an extra segment into the camper, or would that compromise the strength too much?

Yes - The weight limit will be around 225# though. We are going to be coming out with a stronger ridgepole soon as well.

Will adding a segment on the camper model reduce its weight capacity?

I have seen the "cord stopper" used on desks for years. It is called a cap, and it allows wires to be routed up through a hole on the desk to your computer and such. In the case of the YOBOGear TurtleBug, I just call them "pole caps"! To me, the cord stopper is the little knot in the cord. How many "pole caps" (cord stoppers) come with the TurtleBug, and can additional ones be purchased?

I suppose you’re right in the way that a stick is round and a dowel is also round. Well traditionally cordage is attached to caps or held in place via springs that wedge inside the poles. This solution makes changing length of ridge poles and legs a snap. There will be 4 “caps” included with each camper model.

@@imfreeagle1420 you will be able to make I camper with 2 chairs. If you want two campers also - the best deal is 2 campers.

How long of a hammock can the mini accommodate and what is the weight limit ?

The mini is made for a six foot hammock. It has a 500 pound weight limit.
