After quilting for me & customers for 21 years, was a 1st for me of loading backing. Got near the end of quilting and thought "Oh No, not enough backing!" Your video of adding more backing with longarm worked so very well, you're a lifesaver! THANK YOU!
Worked like a dream! Thank you!
Thank you for this information. Looks like I need to put my pole back in place when floating 😮

That pole will help keep your quilting surface level even if you don't have your top fabric attached to it!!
Hello! I hope you had a great day! I had a very busy but fun filled day in my sewing room ironing more fabrics and now I get to hand quilt. Thank you for posting your video.
Thanks I love watching you all!
That explains my tension issues! Put the bar back on while floating and tension is good. Thank you!
thank you girls very good. please have camera on the quilt at all times when you are demonstrating .
Thank you
Hi from Maryland!
Great timing. I have a quilt on my frame right now that the backing is short. Glad to know there is an alternative to unloading it, adding backing fabric, and reloading it. Thank you!
Great info, thanks!
This was a really helpful video. Thank you so much. I had a similar problem when I ran out of batting just at the end. What a great tip to just cut a wavy line and then baste it on when resuming the quilt. I'm saving this video into my library as I know I'll need it again.
My backing was too short thank you very much. It was wonderful not taking it off and yet getting it done before taking off the longarm.
Thank you so much for this informative video. What is "clear view"?

With the Handi Quilter Studio 2 and Gallery 2 frames, you can adjust the poles and load in two different ways. One is clear view. It just means that the poles are in different positions than the standard view. We have videos that show the difference as well.
Excellent tutorial, thank you so much. The quilt hanging behind you is gorgeous. What is the pattern name and designer please as I would love to make it and quilt it xxxxxx

@@kristinawhitneyhqstudioedu7013 I just never heard the term clear view. I don't use the extra pole on the bottom of my quilt top, I just drape the top over the belly bar. My HQ instructor showed me that during my intro lessons.
What is the quilt on the wall? also I know it can't be helped but the view of what you are doing is very limited.

@@kristinawhitneyhqstudioedu7013 Thank you it is beautiful!
I’m sorry but I couldn’t tell what you were doing. You kept trying to get the cameraman to go to the side angle but I didnt understand how you did it
It would be much handier if we could see more of what you are doing rather than looking at the back of everything...
Thank you so much for all the tips you’ve given I love it it’s happened to me before with the battery but not so much the backing good good information❣️✂️🧵🪡
