Hello - I am a newly approved Amazon Influencer, trying to build my storefront. My question is do I need to also apply to be an Amazon Associate to add items, pictures of items to my storefront? I created the influencer account with one email and transferred it to another but the blue bar is only there when I log into the first email. So you are right

I noticed something on my storefront I have not seen or know what to do with the Curations section. I am new to my storefront and still learning could you make a video explaining what this is?

I’m new to the idea lists, I’ve just been posting my reviews videos for a year now. With the ideas list do you need to own the products to be able to include them on your list or can you just add fun things you’d want to buy per subject? For example: Home gym idea list- I don’t own a sauna but would want one in this list is that breaching any terms of Amazon?

Your idea lists should be created with the intention that it’ll help the buyer to make better buying decisions based on what your idea post is about. You don’t necessarily need to own the item but helps to back up the legitimacy of a product!

Thanks for the info- somehow my Idea list doesn't give me the option of "my lists", it only gives me the option of: order history, browse history, subscription and current idea list.

That’s weird, the first tab should have all idea lists but you can still find the products by going to browse history and typing it into search!

Can you make a video on how to do this on the app? I cannot figure it out for the life of me and I can’t get desktop version online

When I try do anything on my store front like try to add items to my idea lists etc. it’s on the US website and there are no products I’ve put because when I shop I obviously use the Amazon Australia website. If they make sense 😅

You may need to sign up for commissions for the US. Each Amazon website in each country requires you to sign up for their individual websites. Really annoying but that may work!

Hmm that’s interesting. You can alternatively search using the browse history tab until hopefully the your orders tab updates

Yes if someone clicks on your idea list and click a product (and if they don’t click another affiliate link before checkout), the commission goes to you

Hi there. This is a great video. Do you have any info on how to share links when your only an Amazon Associate? I haven't got approved for a actual storefront yet.. I've tired numerous times chatting online with the Amazon Associates cust srvc to ask for assistance & also let them know my links do not work when I share them. They are absolutely no help at all!

I’m sorry your associates links aren’t working, that’s really strange. You should be able to go to your associates page and find the product and get your links that way if you haven’t tried that yet!

I’m not sure what you’re asking…if you created a shoppable photo with a typo you will probably be best off reuploading

How does commissions work with an ideas list? If I send traffic to my ideas list does it create a 24 hour cookie for anything they purchase or do I only get commissions for items they click on in the ideas list that they purchase?

You’ll need to reuplod the video and ensure you’ve added all products prior to submitting

It usually updates according to the time something was posted or added to a list unfortunately. Hopefully one day they will allow creators to arrange their posts how they would like

You’d go to MANAGE CONTENT and hit PHOTO AND IDEA LIST, then click DRAFTS :)

I don’t believe there is a cap on number of products but a sweet spot to aim for is between 5 to 25 products in an idea list!

No you can add any items!

So when I create the list, and it gets approved. After when people click on my storefront page and click on a product, do I get that commission just from them clicking on my storefront?

If that’s the last commissionable link they click then yes

If you post your idea list to your storefront and people click on your page and buy from your list, do you make commissions from those buys?

That’s exactly how you make commission from having an Amazon Storefront. Even if they don’t buy anything from your list, but have a cookie from clicking on something on your storefront, you can make commission from whatever they bought

You would click on the product and either click the share button next to the product photo or on your Amazon associate Site stripe toolbar at the top of your page, you can get the link of text, image or text and image of your product

I'm I able to sell items without photos or videos and also after I create an idea list and add items, how do I know if it's been published onto Amazon Store?

You can add products from Amazon into your idea lists, you don’t need to have your own photos or videos for that. Naturally when you have finished your idea list and adding products to it, when you click save/publish it’ll be live

There is no manage content tab? I can’t find it. Maybe the app changed but all i see is: Account settings. manage your profiles. Personalised content. My own lists. I have no option to create an idea list at all… 😒 If I add a product to my recommendation, I can buy it myself.

Yes in the area where it says add products you can add more than one from there. You need at least two items in your list in order to publish it

My lists aren’t working I can’t add any products do you know why? All of a sudden it’s stopped working!

Try refreshing and trying on a few internet browsers. I’m not sure how many items you have in the list but stick to 25 to 30 items max for a better user experience
