How to add Copilot to your Power Apps | GPT-based User Controls
Ғылым және технология
In Part 3 of our series, add Copilot to a simple app in Power Apps. Copilot user controls are rolling out now in preview. See how to add navigation between screens and conditional formatting using generative AI. Publish and share your app with your team, and integrate it with Microsoft Teams or Sharepoint to make it more discoverable.
In Part 1 and 2 of the series, we showed the basics of how to build an inventory tracking app from scratch incorporating AI-driven Copilot capabilities. We added a mechanical parts table for data entry and sample data stored in Dataverse on the backend. Then, we added customizations such as new part records, a search function, and incorporated logic to trigger an email notification.
Emma Cooper, Principal PM Manager for Power Apps, delivers the final installment of our 3-part overview on the fundamentals for building your Power App from scratch.

Can I use copilot chat on my old apps? Will copilot chat have support for several tables and not just one?
Great videos! This helped me a lot of my final challenge. I have a question. I want to add more built in questions and answers. How do I do that? Thank you!
One more video like always, with amazing content :) . I have one doubt, i tried myseld and also looking on the web but i cant get any info if the controller can have fine tunning. For example, i made an app to test and the concept where to extract the selected account from a gallery. The name of that account was stored in a text label then i try to filter the copilot to only give me info on that particular account ( Filter(Accounts, 'Account Name' = Label2.Text) ) but with no success, i only got copilot search in all records. I even try hardcode the value of the account name to an existing account and no success also ... is there any limitation on the controller that dont allow this kind of filtering? or am i failing somewhere?
I think the copilot has not rolled out. But anyway, nice feature! Nice presentation and content 👍
Does copilot control supports Sharepoint list as data source
When can the UK have this?
I´m try this with a dataverse table. Receive this message "Error during call to Azure OpenAI Completions API. Invalid prompt input. This model's maximum context length is 4097 tokens, however you requested 4654 tokens (3886 in your prompt; 768 for the completion)".
@MSFTMechanics Can you make a video on having two and more tables ? or how to add two table in same copilot apps.
I have it enabled in my environment's setting but still i dont see it in my canvas app input setting. Rather I am seeing the option to add a chatbot, but i dont want to pay for virtual agent
Lovely video.. Question: Cant find copilot in the insert options. Why?

It needs to be enabled for the environment you are working in by your PowerPlatform administrator.
