Pretty darn awesome, man. I recently bought the midi and always wondered why the heck they didn’t come with this. Do you know the part number for this? Would like to try installing one to my vac. Thanks. 😊

Nice fix. It does beg the question, why are there two holes that fit exactly in the main body? Maybe Festool were planning a cable tidy but never produced one.

Harvey I asked the same question. I couldn't find any part for this vac though. I suspect the same thing, it was part of the design with the holes but never implemented.

The parts diagram for the CT MIDI I (201927) shows the cable holder (203722). But the cable holder is not shown for CT MIDI models 494111, 498250, or 499605. These three models are 120 volt models.

You recall what screw you used to install this? I know it was a T25 head from what you said, but what about thread and length?

It's been a real long time but I believe these come with the torx self threading screws (meant for plastic). I didn't order any separately.

@@briancnc thanks for responding back, I think from looking at your video, you probably used the screws that came with the cord wrap, that's probably what I'm going to do myself when mine shows up soon. I appreciate it! This was a very good video.

I know this is an old video but he's fitting the wrong part that's why it didn't fit correctly. The Part number for the CT, CTH, CTL, & CTM is 203722 & that's what the pre drilled holes are for.

Thanks for sharing. I looked it uo though and it says that part still needs to be fit for curve for the midi, maybe it's a new part or fits the new midis without modification. Either way it's a simple mod to fit it.
