If it doesn’t stop following them and if they do keep following them. Thank you for these. I’ve trimmed my KZread subscriptions down to like 10-15 channels and you’re one of them. I felt an obligation to the dozens of channels I used to have, trying to keep up with all of the content (and then add on all of the random scrolling and shorts). It was exhausting. Now I am being intentional on which channels are truly beneficial as I try to focus on goals and growth. I keep my notifications off on most of these 10-15 channels, and check for new releases once daily at a set time. No more massive Watch Later, and I can keep videos from some of my favorite non-subscribed channels in a separate folder to come back to their channels in a year or two once I’ve honed in on intentionality and reducing my time on KZread. Thank you for your videos.

I have learned that I love to draw I am currently studying the anatomy of the body to draw more realistically. I am also more easy to talk to around others I'm talking to more people and have made some friends. I also am working out on a daily basis and this weekend I'm going to start running.

I've been feeling like i am kinda losing myself because i keep stumbling over stuff that is out of my control and it has been taking my happiness and desire to do stuff away. I have been getting sick of people lately which normally i never have, i'm even distancing myself from my friends and sometimes subtly taking it on them which they do not deserve. I feel like i need something new and refreshing in life such as a small, basic and easy to maintain routine but i have never been able to bring myself to that point. This video is exactly what i needed thanks!

@@gufo_arrapato8160 Wouldn't most anyone define true success as being at peace and content with life? If not it's usually for some capitalist reason, this video was vague on purpose to suit most any 'ideal' on what a 'fix' might entail, (at least from my pov). Personally, fuck money past basic needs, I want peace so that's my defined 'success'.

Hi, everything you said is 100% correct. The good news is once you get your life in order it will be easier to maintain the good habits. In fact you will want to do them because and be disinterested you will create a positive feedback loop with the people you spend time with. Only be aware that you are not invincible. Almost everyone I've met whom were addicted to social media or video games and procrastination had suffered from bad company - whether dysfunctional family or relationship neglect. These kind of dynamics if you stay in them too long and get comfortable they will begin to drag you down just as you had climbed up.

I'd like to make a correction of some sort, if you want to call it that way. Watching self-help videos and reading self-help books (as I presume, by "nonfiction") is not the best idea, when overly done. It is the ilusion of progress. It makes you think that you are moving forward, yet you stand as you stood. I think it would be better to put self-help content in general on the sidelines and focus on one of 2 other things that are beneficial to metal well-being (sort of a mental cure for bad mood and nihilism). Mainly religion and philosphy. Also reading fiction is good, if not better than non fiction. it gives you kind of a palette of blueprints on how can you deal with problems.

I hereby consider myself as an experiment, sticking to what the creator said and seeking if it actually works. I have my finals starting from 12th Feb lasting for this whole month, right now it's 22:40, 10th Feb, 2024. So, I will stay consistent to the 5 things needed to be done, however, the intensity of each habit(other than working-studying in my case) will be low for the first month as my primary focus is occupied. The 5 self-modified habits I am starting from this point are- 1) Meditate after waking up [app to be used: Atom; Meditation duration: 3 min] 2) Gratitude journal right after meditating [duration: 2 min] 3) Exercise [I do workout but not during exam season to avoid injuries. However, simple walking while reviewing notes is being implemented. Subjects which require solving problems like maths will be an exception] 4) Working [Studying is my primary focus, therefore there's no time limit to it] 5) Influence [ I do not use non-benficial social media. And this comment here gives you an idea of what type of content I consume, therefore I will have to work on maintaining this habit.] Lastly, I know my purpose. Here I am taking my leave to take action. I will update you on 21st April, 21st july, 21st october and 21st january, 2025, on the progress made.

... God its not at all easy to stick by it everyday. There were multiple times my consistency got broke. But one thing which i have realized so far is that, I'm doing a lot better than before. Meditating and Gratitude journalaling has made me so much more optimistic. Exercising is helping me to get a glowup physically. Hmm..After my exams got over I didn't have much work to do, but one thing which I can tell for sure, 90/90/1 Rule helped me so much to accomplish the most of my study. Hmm, about influence I can tell that I'm back on some social media platforms but I'm maintaining my circle which is smaller than 7 people. What I've realized is that "minding your influence" is not only about cutting out toxic people.. but also inviting the worthy ones. And lastly, happy birthday to myself, I'll update again on 21st july (:

even as someone who has been putting the work in, there's still something of value here that i've been missing. i've not been very gratuitous. i've already done the hard work for years and i still do it. i've already deleted social media. i've already used a flip phone. but i haven't really stopped and taken the time to be thankful for all of the small things around me. i experience burnout but i push through, but i will try to implement better mental health steps in order to keep this cycle of grinding more healthy for me. also, i've yet to really understand my purpose and overthink it. i'll have a talk with myself on this later today. thanks for the vid man
