How To Activate The Foot Tripod - Increase Balance, Stability and Strength

How Activate The Foot Tripod - Increase Balance, Stability and Strength
Do you have super tight calves, plantar fasciitis, foot aches and pains?
Tried orthotics and still doesn't help?
Most of the time it's because we have TOO MUCH support in the shoes that make our feet lazy.
We need to train the arches of the feet to work better to it can dissipate force more evenly through the body.
Finding and training with the foot tripod can help bring awareness to the body, activate the deep core muscles, strengthen the body and reduce pain, over time. Sometimes very quickly.
Get comfortable being barefoot.

Totally on board with tripod, but we need to pronate in order to supinate We need not fear normal pronation and avoid having a rigid arch. So meany people come overcompensating with all the supination muscles and holding arch rigid. We need hip IR and pronation/arch lengthening with squatting for glute lengthening. Big toe spread wide and engaged provide arch support while allowing loading of the arch without dumping.

This was interesting to watch! Appreciate you sharing- Is it a good idea to lift the toes when performing squats and lunges to keep the arches from collapsing?

Nice video Andy! Have you done any videos on plantar fasciitis? This seems to tie in really nicely with preventing plantar fasciitis?

This definitely ties in to helping plantar fasciitis, great idea to make videos on specific issues though, I'll keep that in mind!

I have a tendency to ball my foot up like a fist when trying to balance on one foot (tree pose, warrior 3). Hoping this visualization/video can help me correct that
