Thanks for this tip, but I've found an easier way through your advice. Have a another sim that's not Chinese, change carrier to different sim and change data usage over to the same sim. Open app, done 😉

@@TheMintsyrup The foreign sim must have been activated in the country it's from. Then change the data usage to that sim and switch on your VPN

For iphone:~ free; vpnify Shadow X Android:~ free; govpn Proton, and windscribe Paid ones :~nord and express (although they have some major occasional issues in mainland China). If you aren’t on a budget Astrill VPN is the ultimate best in China. Hope you find this helpful.

Not working for me…I already logged out before even putting my Chinese SIM

It only works when my simcard is out, once i insert it back (i make sure tiktok is still open so no worries) it itself gets refreshed and doesn’t work anymore. Any advice pls?

The best way to tackle this is to just have a separate phone that you don’t put a Chinese sim card in. That would be the permanent fix to this issue.
