I have a 2016 Durango R/T and it worked. Still didn’t get the correct menu option. I’m trying to disable screen lock out while the vehicle is in motion so I can use navigation while driving.

Hi Peter just pressed cold and hot button and when got into the screen just pressed factory default yes navigation system is not there on my grand Cherokee

Do you know if it is a one time purchase for the code? Or does the code have an expiration after so long?

I have a 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroads with the 8.4A radio. How can I add Navigation to this system. I've tried the things in the video but, the screen he gets doesnt come up in my system. The 2016 upgrade doesnt come up like his either. Has anyone experienced this problem. Also how do i bypass playing a dvd only while I'm stopped or in park??

I dont have the apps and nav on my menu. Mine is 2014 fiat freemont

Why would you want to go into dealer mode?

Where do you show navigatio?

You can buy the activation code from UK dealers for under $200 due to the laws over there and yes they work in the US.

I have the same problem, my 2015 Jeep thinks it is 800 miles from where it is.

My 14 Charger doesn't give as many options. Guess I need to buy to Nav hardware? Menu only shows Radio Part, SDAR info, Gracenote, Copy User Data, Restore.. DAB Tuner firmware version

I think if you want to activate the navigation system in your car you need to pay some money like 500$

It just allows you to install the navigation system if it didn’t come from factory. It’s not free btw, in my 2014 ram it would cost $595 to install. I stick to my phone

Updates! What a joke! The imagery is viewed in real time so any changes in roads would be instant! They really have to get ride of the con games so we can achieve a better standard of living

If anyone figures out how to get to activate Navigation for free please let me know, I hate that it cost almost 600 to get it! I wouldn't mind paying a couple of hundreds but 600!!!!?????

Its a 16 digit code unique to the vin. Unless you have access to the database that's the only way on new jeeps. With the older jeeps from the mid 2000s, you can just torrent and burn the navigation software to a DVD activating it.

Did either of you pay the $300?? I am very curious considering I work at Jeep and there is no "Activation Code" we take the code you see in the video and go to a dealership website where it is entered in and required $500 payment, not even the dealer gets it free so how can it be resold for $300, let alone send any kind of code @walton Guerrero ??

I said it already. At the dealer. If you have the older Jeep, you can torrent a navigation DVD to activate it. These newer ones don't activate that easy

It's not a jailbreak. The video was intended to show you how p activate if you have a code from Chrysler. If you have an older Jeep with the 5.6 inch uconnect and a optical disc drive you can download and burn the navigation DVD

Sketchy, seems suspect you would have to pay for navigation when you can get free navigation from head units you can install yourself! Navigation became free to the public a long time ago when idiots realalised it wasn't in thier best interest to nuke thier own kind so they made the technology of accessing secure satelight imagery of maps and roads for public use for safety, and to keep the planet going! Without shairing the technology the planet starts going on a decline! That's not a trend, that's understanding the depth of how we create technology! I hope these uselss attacks stop for good and people's time stops being wasted so we can all enjoy road trips and a better quality of life that this planet has to offer
