We have the 3rd bill acceptor that you mentioned. I hope you can help, its not accepting dollar bills. It wont even go in or make a sound like it wants to accept it. Will one of those settings help or do I have a different problem?

What settings do you have to have it on? I have the Coinco BA30B mine shows a steady light but will not take bills at all.

Your settings will depend on what type of machine your validator is in. A steady red light usually means all your settings are just fine, and the validator is enabled to take bills by the host machine. If your validator is taking the bill all the way in, but spitting it back out, that is a bill acceptor problem, not a settings problem, and you will either need to clean your bill acceptor with some compressed air (the best way to remedy poor bill acceptance on a BA30B), or send it in for repair or replace it if cleaning it doesn't fix its problem.

I wish I could help you with that, but we do not work on Genesis machines, and never have, so I don't have any of that information. Sorry.

anyone know how I can make a bill acceptor accept iraqi money ?!

I'm curious. How does one go about making a machine able to accept money other than US currency?I live in the Bahamas and I'm playing with the idea of getting a machine fore a place i work but i can't find any info online about how you get machines to accept currency other than US. IS it pre programed at the factory?

You have to buy a bill acceptor that has been programmed for Bahamian currency at the factory. We can get you a Bahamian bill acceptor if you know necessary details such as interface, voltage, bezel style, etc, for operation with the host machine. Call us at 970-623-1272.

Under "Coinco" on this page of our website - www.vendorstech.com/manuals - you'll find a manual for the "Coinco BA Series". Click on it - it will have all of your switch maps for any BA model, including the BA32SA.

Hello, I have a AP 7500 snack machine. My problem is I have items that cost like $1.25 but for some reason the bill acceptor won't take a second $1.00. Could you tell what it could be causing that?

It could be several things, but I would make sure first of all that all the tubes in your coin mech are filled to the top. You could also try setting a ghost selection in the machine (like A6) at a high price of let's say $2.00. Also, make sure the top switch on the 2-switch bank on the control board underneath your mode buttons is off, and the bottom switch is on.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question.

I Have 2500 and it accepts 1,2 and 5 dollars, the problem is that for some reason in is only taking one bill per transaction, when I try to put another bill it wont take it, it will take all the coins that you want but only one bill per transaction. If you cancel the transaction it will accept that one bill only again. Can you help me if this has to do with the configuration of the switches? Thank you

That issue has nothing to do with your bill acceptor or your dip switches. The problem is most likely due to your coin mech reporting low change in one or more tubes, causing the machine to only accept exact change (check your coin tube levels). You could also turn your bill escrow setting to "off" or "no" in your machine's programming, or if it is a newer machine, it may have an option for the validator to hold the last bill accepted in escrow, or to hold the first bill in escrow. It should be set to "last" if you have this setting, though this option appears on very few machines.

A power reboot to your device is the only field-reset option available on most validators and changers (you could post your model number and I can confirm the options for your device). If rebooting your unit doesn't help whatever problem you are experiencing, then you'll need to send it in to us or another service center for more advanced work.

After I did what you did my bill acceptor won’t get in that mode anymore

Vendors Tech I had to add the exact change in quarters first then it started excepting my bills

Do you know how to change the price? 1 dollar these days isn't nearly enough to cover the cost of running the machine
