Kind of hate myself for never going on round rails as a kid, because I've been skating for like 25 years and I can literally grind any other surface if it has wax and Ive got speed... Including half pipe coping (which is usually round too) Regardless, first attempt after watching this video I landed a clean BS 5050 on a roundie... then failed multiple times in a row trying front side, but let's forget about those.

This is really good advice man. Never heard of landing lightly before. I'm sure it will come in handy when I'm not scared of round rails anymore 😅

I've been trying these for a while and always focus on heelside when jumping on and I always fall to the right for fs 5050. I'm just going to aim for the middle of the truck next time and just shimmy into heel. Been trying the frontside bigspins too, so hard! Cheers Rob, seriously love your channel, best trick tips ever keep up with the vids!

Awesome man. I had a really bad slam slipping off a rail when i was younger, has put me off since but I've hit a few rails on a snowboard and they say to look towards the end of the rail to lock in; ns if this applies to skating as well.
