So glad I found your channel. Your channel has been very helpful in getting me back up to speed after being away from the sport for a long time!
Super job with this detailed presentation.
Love your channel, straight talk and good honest advice, thanks man.

CBE tl3 slider 3 pin. Great sight. Great information here for those wanting to get into 3-d. Move to the country, buy a few acres. You won't regret it.
Nice video with great information. Keep it up!
I have a trophy ridge 4 pin. And it works great for me. Great video
Love the video keep up the good work 👍👍👍
I use my Vortex 1000 range finder as a monocular too. (price 179.00) It is 6 power. I can see where my arrows hit out to 70 yds. with it. I was using my Nikon binoculars, but they were a little cumbersome. The range finder weighs 5.5 oz. It's very light and compact. In competition you cant use the range finder, but for practice its really useful. Just a thought!
Great video
Good video. Was hanging to see your grouping at the end though
? Did you spin your arrows, or make any fletching differences for distance
You're lucky Nate, you might have PA be nice outside in March, meanwhile in OH we don't get nice weather until April or May in the N.E part of OH...😂😐
Great bow....
In IBO hunter class, can you use a slider sight as long as you don’t move it? Want to put a new scope on my axcel with multiple pins but want to be able to use the slider when shooting other stuff
@averagejackarchery

You bet. You can use a sliding 3 pin sight. Just can't touch it once you start scoring shots.
Hey that’s a trophy ridge fix three pin, that’s the sight I use I love it!

I have a 7 pin.. but I only use 5 and my last 2 are my floaters.
I see that you shoot a number of bows that use standard cable slides. What is your method/routine for preventing cable wear? If you're using a standard cable slide and your cables are served at the slide do you still wax?

I use AAE Slippery Slides. Very very minimal cable wear.
28 ,man i feel old (58) i use a no 2 clarifier and a 6 power scope with a single pin and 27 dia black eagles and a Carter chocolate addiction release.

Do you have to be an IBO member before or after world championship in order to compete the following year?.

Glad it was helpful!
If max range in hunter class is 25 to 45 yards I can absolutely a shoot a single pin if I had to... just have to practice alotttt with hold over....I have a single pin slider and I've never actually taking the time while hunting to use the slider feature so I'm pretty damn good at hold overs
Use your sight as a range finder. I use a 5 pin. Pins very close together. If you have all your pins fitting into the target it's very close. If you are only to be able to get 1 maybe 2 pins into the target it's out there. Speed is key to 3D. 300 FPS Plus will make ranging more forgiving. Arrow gets there before it has time to drop. Gravity is 8.9 ft per second squared. Slow bows never win/place in qualifiers. You're most likely shooting against shooters running up to 350 FPS(IBO). You're competing against shooters that have a pin 1 that reaches out to 35 yard. Pin 2 = 45 yards. Pin 3 = 50 to 52 yards. Top pin 1 on the back of the deer with pin 2 on the bottom of the chest is pushing 50 yards if your pins are tight. Top pin on the back third pin on the bottom of the chest is around 40. 4 pins into the target is close. Watch out for a 3 yard shot. That one is pin 5.

Ones in the South, ones in the North. One uses bonus 12 and 14 rings, the other just 11's. Pretty much it. Lol!
Buy some faster bow than 3-5 yrd is not an issue

Good information. But if you want to up your videos, breakup the visuals. Insert various shots of whatever you’re talking about.
