Everyone once in a while I browse commnuity tabs to see other small KZreadrs like myself. It really gives me motivation. I stopped by your channel after seeing a comment and I wanted to show support and say you are doing great! It's hard being a content creator but I want to encourage you to keep it up, even through community tabs you are noticed and just keep pushing through. Happy Sunday!

Thanks for a great video. I had the same leak on my 2001 Highlander. I went to the auto parts store and they had the part in stock. It took me about an hour and $20.00 to totally fox my leaks. Not a drop on my concrete driveway now. Sreering is better too. Thanks again guys.

Thanks for all the info. I definitely needed a short crescent wrench for that upper left clamp, but managed with my bigger one. I used a Costco commercial trash bag under the car and it caught all the leaky fluid. I saved my part bag, wrapped the old part along with all the trapped fluid in the Costco bag then stuffed the whole thing in the part bag and that made a handy way to dispose of it all without making a mess in the trash can. FYI: Don't tighten the frame bolts until you seat the tubes together. I had to push the tube toward the front so the left frame mount would line up. Having a loose screw up front made it easier to slide it forward.

You can also try a cheap piece of Rubber line and 2 hose clamps from your local parts store. That should only cost you a few bucks 👍

If you have the tow package you will use the piece that I took off in the video. It's not an affiliated link or anything just straight from Amazon

The short piece of hose that goes to the reservoir is old and cracked up,. I was planning a quick replacement of just that piece of hose without doing the entire line Looks like Noone sells just this piece of molded to shape hose. Was going to just see about getting a standard piece of hose from a parts store and cut to size.

That we haven't tackled yet on this vehicle so I couldn't give you the exact process for this car. There should be some other how tos on it. I don't believe the process is too different from engines all the first gens it should be the same process. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

All that work just to put in the wrong fluid! Toyota power steering system requires ATF fluid, says specifically do not use power steering fluid.
