    With trading, technical analysis skills alone are not enough; discipline and emotional maturity are also crucial for success. The saying "time in the market vs. timing the market" is a good mindset to have during market fluctuations. Thanks to Linda Wilburn’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Keep it up!

    I doubt I would get any likes on this post but I might as well share my two cents. I remember seeing the video of the comparison of who makes more money, a truck driver or a doctor and by the time the doctor is 45 there's gross is exponential but for the first 20 years that truck driver makes tons more even with raises

  • @KenW418

    @KenW418

    Ай бұрын

    I've heard this too, but I don't think it's about what the truck driver is "making" vs the doctor, it's about their net worth. A doctor will still be paid a salary that is close to, if not greater than a truck driver very early in their career. However, they have so much debt from becoming a doctor that it takes more than a decade before their net worth is positive while the truck driver will most likely only have a mortgage negatively impacting their net worth.

    Just my two cents as a truck driver for money prospective. I’m 42 made 117k base last year with 21k profit sharing. My net worth is around 800k , my wife makes about 70k. The question is how much do doctors make starting? Truckers make probably 50-60k first year in today’s economy.

    @@truckingmoney485 That's really awesome for you. I bet a doctor makes something similar for their first years. The difference is the ceiling. For instance, a family doctor could only cap out at like 150k to 200k or so but a neurosurgeon could have a salary that's half a million. Makes it hard to know these things.

    Graham, the salary for doctors Ali is describing is for the UK. American doctors do make a lot more money, but UK doctors don’t have as much debt. This is why a lot of UK and Canadian doctors try to go to the US, so they can make more money. Those countries are facing a real shortage of doctors.

    Kind of off-topic from your post, but I was in the medical field in the US for over 20 years and worked with so many doctors who made a lot of money but were basically living paycheck to paycheck. They felt like they had to look rich so they ended up being deeply in debt.

    Great video, its very hard though to make the jump from working a 9-5 for a corp with a specific skill set to expanding to your own business and needing many more skill sets. Thats where most (like myself) get stuck, starting the side business and having the confidence in yourself to succeed. Many times the corp world frowns upon that as well and you arent allowed to do things like this

    That's where I feel like most struggle. I know a few things well enough that I could do consultant work, or start a service oriented business around it. However, I have zero of the business knowledge of how to set that up and not enough time to devote to learning the necessary things to get that up and running. I feel like the biggest part of the risk of starting your own business that way is probably having to completely quit salaried work and live off of savings before realizing any gains from a business that isn't guaranteed. If it was something I could easily do while also working and slowly transition over, that would make more sense, but that doesn't seem possible.
