How Tiny Living Drastically Changed My Work Life I Surviving On a Minimal Income
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Many have asked me what I actually do for a living and if I have a job! So in this video I talk about how I completely redesigned my worklife after I moved into my tiny house. Living in a tiny house I have a lot of economic freedom and I can therefore afford to spend my time on things that I feel passionate about.

That's lifestyle I want also. I am from China and visited Europe 2 times and it changed my mind for living. I bought a piece of land in Hungary and will do pretty much the same like you in the video.😊
There is so much in this video that speaks a truth about like minded people. I think that for me, the biggest frustration I have is that no one in my life understands what I am feeling and my way of looking at life and how I live it. I would like to from a small community where we can share and help one another with our lifestyle.

That’s a neat way to invest! I am not into gardening but admire the idea given the astronomical cost of vegetables- how can a tomato cost 1$ and an avocado $2?! I guess none can grow tomatoes- just give them sun & water. Point finale.
Sounds like a much better balance of life than the corporate world. Its also good you mention the importance of community contributing. Off grid / self sufficient doesn't need to mean isolated.

The last 7 years I learned, you don't need to go tiny to get out of the rat race. You can stop consuming however you live. You can stop wasting money in buying useless things. You can start growing your own food in nearly every garden, even on a balcony. Or you can collect fruits as berries, apples, pears, nuts and so on outside in nature. You can easily get used to need less without building a tiny house or van. It's not the outer form but the inner way you choose. I'm so glad working only 3 days in my "normal" job. Of course I would earn much more money, if I would work fulltime, but why?

You've had me until the very end. People work full-time to raise their families and provide for them. There is dignity in work. That being said, I agree that the tiny house movement and off grid living fad is unnecessary. A minimalist lifestyle, gardening, making the most of what you have already can deliver the same thing in a much more rightly ordered way
Good for you! So much less stressful. I live out of debt and have a house paid for but relish going tiny...less housework, less stress!

Excellent summary of exactly what i want to do At 62 i dont need money but time is running out... But I would trade it for an old cabin in the woods in a heartbeat if I only could. Now it's time to start watching your videos from the beginning.
Elderflowers go on to produce elderberries. Elderberries when simmered in a covering of water, then strained and the liquid brought back to the boil with a pound of honey per pint of liquid, makes a wonderful winter remedy that keeps flu away 🙂. When jarred in sterilised jars while still simmering, it will keep for years 🙂. Tastes lovely as well.

did the same in 2019 after working in Manufacturing overseas for 20 years. finally decided to repatriate and build a beach villa in a beautiful windy coastal town famous for kitesurfing & surfing. My property is just 100 m from white beach front, Im working remote full time graveyard shift so I spend 3-4 hours day time outdoors gardening, tending to my chicken coop and my pets and next month looking to build a small piggery to supply local butchery at this small property by the hills that i just bought. So yeah, drastic change from toxic city and corporate living to simple country living may just extend my lifespan and have a better sense of fulfillment.

This video is very inspiring to me when I am not living in my tiny house(12x28) I am living in my DIY truck camper build. Anxious this year to actually get some organization and plant vegetables also. You are brave to venture out of your normal and allow God’s creation to sustain you. You are right it is hard work, but it’s reward is greater.

But you need to have land in your name to do this, sadly 99% of city dwellers will never experience this.
This just seems like it is not Denmark. The kommune/police will be called even if you build a shed for firewood, NOTHING is allowed in Denmark, how on earth do you do this legally??

It’s true that we are regulated, but it’s not as strict as the picture you paint there - you just need to know how the navigate the rules. We are allowed to build sheds and such without permission up til a certain percentage of your lot, if you register them. You can build a tiny house as a “summer house” in the summer house zone, but then you have to not live there full time during winter, which I don’t.
