My ex did this to me. The only reason we didn't get married is because he needed a copy of his divorce papers from another county & it was late on a Friday. 3 days he kept me. I escaped after being choked & beaten & managed to fight him off & run for it. It was terrifying. The sad part is, the courthouse paid no mind to my red swollen eyes from crying so hard begging him to let me go. I honestly thought they'd notice my distress. But nope. People need to learn how to spot situations like this. Glad this woman also made it out alive.

@@michelizeclem1647 paperwork still needs to be done since there is record of the marriage. They can’t just crumple the paper up and throw it away. That’s just not how it works. The annulment process really isn’t that complicated anyway.

The scariest part about this is she tried to distance herself from him the minute she knew something was off about him. But he managed to abduct her anyway...

How horrifying. You would think that the state of Nevada would automatically annulled the marriage so that she wouldn't have to deal with the expense and emotional aspects of it. But come to say the only charged one person to jail when it was really 3 people who raped me, my dad and his brothers did. And i hate them for it still till this day. And i still live with the fact that i think someone or anyone would try to kidnap me or my little girl, cause of what happen to me in the past.
