Thank you for providing this excellent review of how the F-series is assembled. It was very informative. It showed the detailed process of how the robots and humans work together through every assembly. I am very impressed with the sophisticated technology that is the state of the art assembly plants of today. It's impressive to see how automated the assembly plants are. The plants are very clean, well lit, and how quit the plant is. It sure changed my perspective of what these modern plants are. As a kid in the 1960s, my Cub scout pack was able to tour the GM assembly plant in Panorama City, in Southern California, where I live. I was born in Detroit in 1955, most of my family worked in the automotive industry. My mom's side worked at Chrysler's Highland Park headquarters, and my dad's side at Ford's Dearborn headquarters, and at various plants in the Detroit area. That's just the way it was. I remember hearing stories about how tough it was working in the assembly plants. Back then, there were no robots, the plants were very noisy and dark. The plants have come a long way in the past 60 years. Ford's plants are a site to behold. We are a total Ford family, we only drive Fords, Lincolns, and F-series trucks, and always have. Today, that means Lincolns, Explorers, and F-series trucks. After watching this video, it's easy to see why Fords are such with the latest technology. I look forward to the day when Ford starts building great sedans and wagons again. I have always thought that when EVs become fully accepted, that's when Ford will start building cars again. Seeing nothing but SUVs and trucks is getting a little boring. I say the American car buying public still likes driving cars, but now we have to drive foreign cars because the Big Three stopped building them. If Detroit will build them, we will buy them. That said, maybe EVs are not the vehicles to replace the ICE. If the EVs evolve to the point that they offer the same driving experience that the ICE does or a different solution should become available, we will begin to see cars again.

Just don't tow anything or you'll kill the battery in a hurry. It's useless as a towing vehicle.
