@@duncankilburn7612 thanks for your comment brother. You know, here in Bangladesh even the Baptist Church which denounces keeping any idol or sculpture of Jesus or Isa (AS), still firmly believe in that Trinity theory and is not ready to accept any healthy discussion on Abrahamic 'religions'! They even equate Jews with Muslims and consider both as enemies! I just wonder how pathetic the situation is! Here we can get a copy of the Bible translated in Bangla by the Bible Society. Interestingly, in the preface the publisher has stopped mentioning how many times the Bible has been revised! Personally I've 2 copies of Bible gifted by my Christian friends, one is with the no. of revisions and one without it! But the truth is, they are unaware of a widely accepted revised and more logical version of the Bible in the present world! Here many of the tribal people converted to Christianity by the Missionaries for over a hundred year after the Indian Sub-Continent came under the British rule. As a Muslim I really feel bad for these people of Christian faith who don't have that scope to explore what's going on in the outside world! Don't know what'll happen to these people with very little or no educational background at all when Jesus/ Isa (AS) will return. :(

Several manuscripts dating earlier than the Codex Sinaiticus mention the resurrection in the Gospel of Mark. For instance, the Codex Vaticanus, also from the 4th century, contains the resurrection passage. Additionally, older fragments such as some papyri and parchments discovered in archaeological excavations also attest to this section of the Gospel of Mark before the Codex Sinaiticus.

That's not true at all. I am a "fundamentalist" or "evangelical" Christian Pastor and have never met anyone in Theological colleges or a mature Christian who believes the Trinity verse in 1 John is authentic. The doctrine of the Trinity was established many hundreds of years before someone put this trinitarian comment in the text of 1 John. The Doctrine of the Trinity is a very good effort at summarising the teaching of many many verses on the relationship between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Muslims deny the doctrine, but they can only do so by taking without evidence that the church altered the New Testament. This verse was NOT in any Greek copy of IJohn when Islam arose so is irrelevant to that unfounded accusation. Sure the New Testament was copied by hand and so no one perfect manuscript exists. But Islam tried for uniformity of its manuscripts by burning all the ancient copies of the Koran.

  • @brianandere7348

Please if possible bring those manuscripts that do not have that verse and compare them to those that were modified and make a video comparing them. It will be helpful to a great extend. I just saw you referencing one writing, but to conclude something like that we need to reference different writings from different scholars and show the distinct missing parts clearly in their original languages (Greek, Latin and Hebrew)

Because Christ was not joking when he said his father was greater than him and neither was he joking when he said the father was his God and thus people ignore this but when Christ returns and they see him worshiping God and praying to him they might think this is not Jesus at all ha ha ha but that is what Jesus did when he was here and that is what he does in heaven and that is what he will do when he returns so thus Jesus is God word but he is no equal to the father because he worship the father the father does not worship JESUS and this alone should be enough but hey here are so many mentally ill people...

The Trinity is not a family union. Understand TRINITY. You are a Trinity being. Body soul and Spirit. And we are commanded to rule over our Spirit and body in the bible. Jesus said he himself and Holy Ghost came out from the Father. In Quran, Allah cluelessly/mistakenly agreed by saying Jesus is the Word and Spirit proceeding out from God. This is the Trinity expression in the Bible. Similar to Rapture's expression. Even though the "term" was coined at a later date.

My Uncle is a lecturer in science, his personal library at his house looks just the room you are filming in. He often helped me with sciences when I was younger. One time when explaining something to me in chemistry I think, we went to his library and he grabbed a book, quickly flipped to a page and explained the concept in organic chemistry. I asked him how he knows where his books whereas to me it looked like there was no order. He had some chemistry books next to biology books, he had other chemistry books next to physics books, and then another set of chemistry books next to books on philosophy which was a new interest of his. He told me he had a system, truly the Lord only knows what kind of system my Uncle has - he always was able to explain to me anything that I was struggling with in science in a simple way. I forgot to mention he has books on religion thrown into the mix for the heck of it. Great guy, really lucky to have him in my life. Always had the best stories about absolutely everything and anything. Probably one of the funniest things I remember from being younger is him hiding chocolates in his folders as he had diabetes and his wife and children didn’t like him having too much sugar but he liked something sweet with his tea.

Muslims use the word Tawhid to describe allah ie the oneness of god.... right? Can you find the word Tawhid in the Quran??? Do YOU need 50 years? SIMILARLY, Christians used the term Trinity to describe the essence of God. Even tho the word does not appear in the Bible, the essence of a Triune God is all over the Bible. I am putting the Biblical verse to substantiate the essence of the Triune God. The Bible teaches that the Father is God, that Jesus is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also teaches that there is only one God. Though we can understand some facts about the relationship of the different Persons of the Trinity to one another, ultimately, it is incomprehensible to the human mind. However, this does not mean the Trinity is not true or that it is not based on the teachings of the Bible. The Trinity is one God existing in three Persons. Understand that this is not in any way suggesting three Gods. Keep in mind when studying this subject that the word “Trinity” is not found in Scripture. This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God-three coexistent, co-eternal Persons who are God. Of real importance is that the concept represented by the word “Trinity” does exist in Scripture. The following is what God’s Word says about the Trinity: 1) There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Timothy 2:5). 2) The Trinity consists of three Persons (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun "Elohim" is used. In Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8, the plural pronoun for “us” is used. The word "Elohim" and the pronoun “us” are plural forms, definitely referring in the Hebrew language to more than two. While this is not an explicit argument for the Trinity, it does denote the aspect of plurality in God. The Hebrew word for "God," "Elohim," definitely allows for the Trinity. In Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, the Son is speaking while making reference to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Compare Isaiah 61:1 to Luke 4:14-19 to see that it is the Son speaking. Matthew 3:16-17 describes the event of Jesus’ baptism. Seen in this passage is God the Holy Spirit descending on God the Son while God the Father proclaims His pleasure in the Son. Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are examples of three distinct Persons in the Trinity. 3) The members of the Trinity are distinguished one from another in various passages. In the Old Testament, “LORD” is distinguished from “Lord” (Genesis 19:24; Hosea 1:4). The LORD has a Son (Psalm 2:7, 12; Proverbs 30:2-4). The Spirit is distinguished from the “LORD” (Numbers 27:18) and from “God” (Psalm 51:10-12). God the Son is distinguished from God the Father (Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9). In the New Testament, Jesus speaks to the Father about sending a Helper, the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). This shows that Jesus did not consider Himself to be the Father or the Holy Spirit. Consider also all the other times in the Gospels where Jesus speaks to the Father. Was He speaking to Himself? No. He spoke to another Person in the Trinity-the Father. 4) Each member of the Trinity is God. The Father is God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2). The Son is God (John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16). 5) There is subordination within the Trinity. Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and the Son, and the Son is subordinate to the Father. This is an internal relationship and does not deny the deity of any Person of the Trinity. This is simply an area which our finite minds cannot understand concerning the infinite God. Concerning the Son see Luke 22:42, John 5:36, John 20:21, and 1 John 4:14. Concerning the Holy Spirit see John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7, and especially John 16:13-14. 6) The individual members of the Trinity have different tasks. The Father is the ultimate source or cause of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11); divine revelation (Revelation 1:1); salvation (John 3:16-17); and Jesus’ human works (John 5:17; 14:10). The Father initiates all of these things. The Son is the agent through whom the Father does the following works: the creation and maintenance of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17); divine revelation (John 1:1, 16:12-15; Matthew 11:27; Revelation 1:1); and salvation (2 Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:21; John 4:42). The Father does all these things through the Son, who functions as His agent. The Holy Spirit is the means by whom the Father does the following works: creation and maintenance of the universe (Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 104:30); divine revelation (John 16:12-15; Ephesians 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21); salvation (John 3:6; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:2); and Jesus’ works (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38). Thus, the Father does all these things by the power of the Holy Spirit. Do not rant ignorantly about the Bible if you haven't read it yet. Do not use googled nonsense to post. Our God is a Triune God as evidenced by the verses all over the Bible posted above. Just because allah is so small and nonexistent thar even a tame sheep can eat the quran. This contrast with the God of the Bible Yahweh who is the sovereign creator who is Triune. Just because your small brain is used to a small allah, does not mean anything but your own stupidity. But Islam is not monotheist as muhammad asks his followers to bow down and worship the three pagan nabatean daugthers of Allah in Quran 53. Muhammad also tells muslims to touch the corner of the Stone to erase your sins, a paganistic worship RITUAL. So the Trinity is IN the Biblical verses but the Tawhid is not in the Quran. I have proven that Christianity is monotheist with a Triune God. But Can you explain why Muslims used the word ie Tawhid to descibe Islam as a monotheist religion even tho it is not. ? The Bible confirms that our God is Triune... ONE God Being in Three Persons. Islam is false and Jesus Christ is Lord

Trinity is NOT paganism but ISLAM IS PAGANISM. The Bible tells us from multiple verses that our God is a Triune God ie Three Persons and One Being. Islam is however a pagan cult believing that sins can be forgiven by touching a stone. Muhammad also bowed down with his followers in worship of pagan idol gods. This is all in the sahih hadiths. Muhammad is a pagan worshipper as the QURAN, TAFSIRS AND HADITHS... The Satanic verses delivered thru Muhammad at Quran 53. SATAN was SUCCESSFUL to deceive muhammad. Muhammad PROSTRATED OR BOW down together with followers to cranes or pagan gods. He told his followers bow down. Muhammad says the intercession for the three daugthers is a must. They say they never seen Muhammad worshipping the pagan god of the quraish so FERVENTLY with them together. Look at the tafsirs... The Qur'an Verse commentary ChapterVerse 22.52 Wahidi - Asbab Al-Nuzul by Al-Wahidi (Never sent We a messenger or a prophet before thee…) [22:52]. The commentators of the Qur'an said: “When the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, saw that his people were shunning him, he was aggrieved by their rejection of the message he brought them and he secretly wished that Allah, exalted is He, reveals something to him which would bring him and his people closer to each other, keen as he was to see them accept faith. One day, he sat in one of the congregations of Quraysh which attracted a huge number of its members, and he wished that Allah, exalted is He, does not reveal to him on that day anything that might repel them from him. Allah, exalted is He, revealed to him then Surah al-Najm (By the star when it stetteth…) [Surah 53]. The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, recited it but when he reached (Have ye thought upon al-Lat and al-'Uzza, and Manat, the third, the other) [53:19-20], the devil put on his tongue what he had secretly wished and hoped for and said: 'These are the mighty cranes (gharaniq) and their intercession is hoped for'. When the Quraysh heard this, they were very pleased. The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, carried on reciting until the end of the Surah and then prostrated. ALL the Muslims followed suit and PROSTRATED , and all the idolaters who were present PROSTRATED too. All those who were present, whether Muslim or disbeliever, PROSTRATED except al-Walid ibn al-Mughirah and Abu Uhyahah Sa'id ibn al-'As who were too advanced in age and could not prostrate, but they both grabbed a handful of dust and put their foreheads on it. The Quraysh then dispersed, happy with what they heard. They said: 'Muhammad has mentioned our idols with complimentary terms. We know that Allah gives life and takes it away, He creates and provides sustenance, but these idols of ours will intercede for us with Him. Now that Muhammad has associated them, we are all with him'. That evening, Gabriel, peace be upon him, went to the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, and said: 'What have you done? You recited to people that which I did not bring from Allah, glorified is He, and you said what I did not say to you'. The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, felt very saddened and was greatly scared of Allah. And so Allah, exalted is He, revealed this verse, upon which the Quraysh said: 'Muhammad has regretted what he has mentioned regarding the status of our idols vis-à-vis Allah'. And they became even more antagonistic than before”. Abu Bakr al-Harithi informed us> Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Hayyan> Abu Yahya al-Razi> Sahl al-'Askari> Yahya> 'Uthman ibn al-Aswad> Sa'id ibn Jubayr who said: “The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, recited (Have ye thought upon al-Lat and al-'Uzza, and Manat, the third, the other) upon which the devil projected on his tongue: 'These are the mighty cranes and their intercession is hoped for'. The idolaters were pleased. They said: 'He has mentioned our idols'. Then Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, and said: 'Read back to me the speech of Allah'. When he read it to him, Gabriel said: 'As for this I did not bring; this is from the devil'. And so Allah, exalted is He, revealed (Never sent We a messenger or a prophet before thee but when He recited (the message) Satan proposed (opposition) in respect of that which he recited thereof. But Allah abolisheth that which Satan proposeth. Then Allah establisheth His revelations…)”. Did you count how many times Muhammad and his followers BOWED DOWN to idols in fervent PAGAN WORSHIP?? 😂🤣 Narrated Aisha: Once the Prophet (ﷺ) was bewitched so that he began to imagine that he had done a thing which in fact he had not done. Collection Sahih Bukhari Dar-us-Salam reference Hadith 1606 In-book reference Book 25, Hadith 92 USC-MSA web (English) reference Volume 2, Book 26, Hadith 676 Related Qur'an verses 22.26 Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar. said, "I have never missed the touching of these two stones of Ka`ba (the Black Stone and the Yemenite Corner) both in the presence and the absence of crowds, since I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) touching them." I asked Nafi`: "Did Ibn `Umar use to walk between the two Corners?" Nafi` replied, "He used to walk in order that it might be easy for him to touch it (the Corner Stone)." It is not my translation . It is from your Islamic sources. If i have changed it, let me know if you have proof. *Why are you following a bewitched pagan worshipper MUHAMMAD who leads his followers to BOW DOWN to stone idols ??* Answer pls. Not true at all..Please don't listen to this or Bart Ehrman, he analyzes but is rooted in confusion. It will take away your salvation, Islam is not what people think, the spirits behind it. This is not rooted in the truth. Many things claimed to be historical facts aren't factual at all, they are specifically planted by the enemy of the souls of humanity. Jesus Christ is the truth and the almighty. ALL will know it someday, and yes, hell is real. Without Jesus Christ and true repentance, baptism, and salvation, there is no other place for the soul to go. Islam teaches that Allah is the great deceiver. God would never be a deceiver, this is not a trait of God. It is a trait of darkness. Many of the things Muhammad said show he was fooled into thinking he was hearing from God and an archangel, but he was being deceived. Islam is a deception and all those that have died and seen the spirit world know it now. Many things said in it prove it easily. Jesus Christ is literally the ONLY way, islam seeks to take away and change salvation is a very insidious and crafty manner. This is far far away from the truth..

I have found Bart's lectures very enlightening. I have not heard anyone repudiate his historical breakdown of christology. According to him (and apparently everyone agrees) the earliest christians did not even believe in incarnation, rather exaltation (i.e. not a god incarnate, instead an ascension to godhood). Even then they bickered and differed in when christ was exalted to godhood - was it after his death, or what's it when he was baptized, or take it back further, maybe when he was born. In fact, only after taking it back all the way to the beginning of creation did the theology evolve into proto-incarnation christology - and that to evolved into docetism, separationism, modalism and then finally trinity. The scary part about christianity to me is the simple fact that every single branch/creed considers the others heretical and hellbound. So, if one were to reason that the most authentic and original version of christianity is to believe jesus was exalted to godhood after his death on the cross, trinitarians would say that said one would burn in hell. How is that not arbitrary and entirely subjective? Belief in Allah is not subjective. Belief in Allah is entirely objective when one studies Islam.

It's beyond human thinking and reasoning and logic how even when the Trinity is proven to be a lie and unbiiblical that the Christians still want to say it's true. God is not a God of confusion but when a Christian is explaining the Trinity anyone can see it's a false doctrine and unbiiblical. I see the work of Satan when they try to explain it. The Christians will say it's a mystery but the only mystery is that you still believe the Trinity to be true even after being shown it's false.

Thank you. I have long discounted the trinity. When man was created in the image of God, he was made "male and female". This is why Christ is referred to as a "female rock" and the "rock" upon which the Church would be built. Interestingly, the Hebrew comparison is "shekinah" (shin-kaf-nun-heh) which is also female. Reading Proverbs 8 describing Christ's involvement leaves us properly with a dual nature, a Spirit and a body in which the Spirit dwells. In Christ dwells the fullness of the Godhead. My respect to you for telling it truly.

Assalamu alaikum. I absolutely love hearing what you have to say. It makes so much sense and the fact that you back it with evidence is superb! Thanks for all you share.

“Without this verse, the doctrine of the Trinity must be inferred from a range of passages combined together”…. “complicated, like a Christmas tree, all mangled up together” … Nah. Not at all “complicated.” Matt 3:16-17 “As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and resting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!’” Matt 28:19 Baptize "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.” Zechariah 12: 6:44 I will pour on the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of of Grace and supplication when they will look at me whom they pierced. Complicated? Sorry, no sale.
