those epic bundles are just recolored defaults...not only that but it's color patterns UBI ALREADY USED ON OTHER SKINS... The only thing that could make me even consider paying for this cash grab scheme, would be getting each month a skin bundle (of which they will never do a recolor variant) with a unique uniform (not just a recolored default/event skin) and do this for a variaty of ops (yes, ubi there are more ops in this game than Ash, Lion and Smoke)

yeah you're basically paying for a Warden skin, an ugly recolor ash skin, RNG gambling aka packs, and one of the most underwhelming battlepass out of any game... like what does siege battlepass actually give? look at the value of Apex's battlepass, or Warzone's (which is synced with Modern Warfare 3, so you get all those skins in both games and u can also grind in both games for it)... Even in The Finals, a shooter that had a huge player count when it launched at the start of 2024, the battlepass has so many cool things like animations for your guns, animated skins, so much customization for the same 10$..

They should just bring back the YEAR PASS. That was by far one of the greatest deal imp for siege.

There’s a reason it was released with the dryest season of the game’s life cycle and its to squeeze out as much money as possible. That $10 may not be much but it can be used on SO MUCH ELSE

But it’s not that much and everyone has a choice… I agree we should be vocal about it so that we can try and make them change it or make it more worth it. but calling to or prompting anyone to be bullied because they got it is wrong obviously😂. I never got a year pass and only bought like 3 battlepass since I’ve been playing I don’t want to get the new season pass thing because it’s not worth it. I'm in the same boat, cause in total cost, this costs $20 more (over all 3 months) to get the battlepass and 2 full operator bundles and an animated operator background; so I think it's just whether you think an operator bundle is worth $10 and putting it that way... they're not elites or come with special animations or anything so I'm gonna have to say no.

Ubisoft really just expect us to be ok spending $80-120 a year, compared to the year pass which was $30. Assuming you buy the whole year at once for $80 that’s still almost triple the price but I’m not seeing triple the value. During a year of the membership we’re getting 1 new operator, maybe 2 depending on y10s1, no new maps, maybe 1 new gun, game will still be flooded with cheaters, re-released old events costing $100 to get everything (now with recoloured skins) but it’s ok because every 3 months we get enough legendary skins for a single operator. The year pass used to give us 8 ops each with their own guns back when we’d get new maps. Even when it was reduced to 4 ops we got the bp, the odd new map & reworks. Where’s the money going? Certainly ain’t towards the game.

My god, this is just bad, both ethically and from a business standpoint.

Warden already has a goated default outfit so no thanks

Who’s idea was it adding more pay only skins like at least let us use r6 credits to buy the membership

if you change the perspective: $10 is almost the price of the battle pass. skips the r6 credit step (money>credits>battlepass, new adds money>battlepass/levels+packs/skins/whatever)

Easy way to fix (atleast imo) make it renew every 3 months instead of one, and just give us more. So we'd get 3 sets of rewards for 10 bucks I might buy it if they atleast do this

I've been thinking about this since they brought back acogs. I think the games coming to an end and they dont want to put much effort into the devolpment of the game anymore. They will try to keep the player base interested like bringing back acogs, reworking recruits, maybe add 5man recruits later. Possibly changing ranked 2.0. Then they will try to monetize the game as much as possible to get as much as possible until the game finally dies.

I’ve bought the season and battle passes in the past because I wanted to support the game. This year is so lacklustre that I have no desire to Ubisoft more money for no new maps and only one more new operator. Greedy bastards.

I could see getting this every three months before the new season since it’s the same price as the Battlepass and you get some extra shit too but absolutely not every month.

When I first saw this, I wasn’t reading properly and thought I would get everything under “battle pass access” available for me every month, and I thought wow that’s actually a crazy good deal, I might actually pay for that, and then I read the text above that said it was just access to the battle pass and I was like oh, nevermind they are just ripping you off honestly

Like yes, it's the same price as the battle pass if you only buy one month, but if you don't cancel your subscription after a month you are paying more money for less content, that's on me for not clarifying

I know this is controversial, but in my opinion its not a bad thing because if you want the battle pass you can just buy it and then cancel it immediately giving you the battle pass and some extra stuff at no extra cost compared to just buying the battle pass normaly with r6 credits.

I have to say, sometimes I don't understand the R6 player base. So many people that only ever picked up the game, many on sale after year 2-3, and never spent another dime, yet expect substantial content updates forever. Somewhere in that equation, money needs to come in for it to make sense. Be glad R6 has been entirely cosmetic and has kept its competitive integrity (although one could argue the early access period waters that down). Not saying I would advise people to subscribe to the membership, but reading the comments you'd think Ubisoft just flattened several villages and steals more water than Nestle instead of adjusting their monetization model for optional cosmetics.

Outside of the having to login and claim it part the yearly purchase isnt really that different from the old year passes. The ONLY difference is that there is a monthly option and that you have to claim the stuff which just gives ubisoft more chances to have you forget you bought it and get an extra month or two or something lol

This sounds like Ubisoft hired an some random external consulting company: "Hey, any idea how to make more money?" My biggest problem with it is, I have no clue what I'm actually getting at the end. What if I subscribe for 1 year, and the legendary bundles suck? Or already have a nice bundle? E.g. I don't care about Warden. For almost the same price, I can get 16K credits, buy all battle passes, and maybe 6 Elite(!!) Bundles on-top. For operators I actually care about. Without having to wait several months to have the complete bundle. Sounds like a much better deal, than this subscription.

Let me make it very simple for everybody: You don't any Ubisoft games. A few years ago, Ubi made it so that every game you own is no longer your property, but a license instead. I.e. don't buy a membership so that you get digital in-game items of a game you DO NOT own. They can revoke these licenses at any time if they want, reasons aside.

If you can use R6 credits to fund the membership that'd be great as I've made a fortune off the marketplace with old skins. I'll probably get the first month and sack it off. Never play warden so not fussed about that legendary set but it'll cover the cost of that BP.

Games like fortnite, who have been using the crew subscription idea for multiple years now, will at least leave your monthly reward in your locker for you and will notify you of everything you earned while away should you log in after a couple months. The current way the drops are supposed to work are a total scam. No thanks, Ubisoft. I'll happily use my money elsewhere

If it's similarly priced to the battle pass it could be worthwhile to get the first month then dip before the second because it's some R6 credits and cosmetics. Personally if it's reasonably priced I might get the first month but never really play warden so I don't feel incentived. Really catering to professional or sweaty R6 is killing the membership in my eyes

So basically, the exclusive headgear, uniform, weapon skin, and card come from the battle pass comes from paying around $99 to Siege. Just let that sink in. Valorant skins are expensive too, but I feel like at least those have their worth in different animations, new sounds, effects, and so on (no I’m not shilling for that either, microtransactions are OPTIONAL). Yet here we can pay $99.99 for a load out that doesn’t even push the boundaries of what these weapon skins could be doing. Wow.
