Great photos, really nice video too.
Excellent...I feel the same about my Lumix LX100II. It don't even carry my large mirrorless camera anymore and am getting all my lenses, bodies and batteries together to sell. The only thing that has me looking into the Q series is the 28mm f1.7 and the resolution, which I want for making prints. Still, I am happy with my current camera; it goes with me everywhere, even on commutes to work. I think everyone needs to wait before buying any camera and use what they already own more to see if it truly is a need or a want to have the latest. I find that by waiting the Universe will provide the answer and opportunity to provide me all that I need.

well said!
Nice images, Toshiki! I agree with your conclusions and how using the 28 over time feels like the barriers between my eye and the camera dissolves. I use the Ricoh GRIII, and it feels like an extension of my body. Operation is natural, fluid, and most importantly: fast. I am from London, but I live I México City with my wife. I have experienced the challenges of photographing home and how something I used to find interesting can become too familiar to photograph well. The 28mm is a great way to revive that interest again. Now I try to photograph full scenes, including context of where and when in moments. This means many times I will still step back and try to include more things I used to consider as clutter or mess. A story is often found when including the pieces I thought I didn't want. I subscribed to follow your journey. ✌️

Amazing video, I have a Q2 ghost and was considering upgrading to the Q3 now that prices have calmed down for it. Only thing stopping me is the body of the ghost looks way better than a Q3. Wanted your insight on why you haven’t upgraded your Q2?
Excellent video! As a fellow Q2 shooter I could totally relate to your thoughts. It’s really a very special camera and I enjoyed seeing your images. Thanks

Yo con mis camaras me siento feliz!! Tengo operativas la 7d, xt1, xpro2 y p1000 , variedad para disfrutar todo tipo de luces y momentos.
Some lovely photos in here dude - well done!
I personally like to use a Camera I know how to use. When It becomes an extension of my hand more than some piece of gear. They can come out with new bodies but I think I will stick with what I got for as long as I can and use my favorite focal lengths of 28mm 50mm, 85mm and 135mm and be content. Nice video friend.

Lovely video as usual. I got myself original Q and fell in love with camera and photography again. It’s light, simple to use and has so many great qualities including very film-like sensor. I have M8 as well and everyone says how the CCD is very film like. I have to disaggree and while M8 colors are really amazing, I find Q to be way more filmic and organic when dealing with RAWs. Straight out of camera BW jpeg is fantastic, I easily go ISO10000 just because of super natural grainy noise. The only addition I got is K&F 1/8 diffusion filter which added even more soft and warm emotions for this camera.
That is so true, feeling part of your camera. That is a beautiful story.

Inspiring as always! I feel the same way about my XPro1 Fujifilm with the old 18mm f2 that everyone thinks is terrible but I love it. Thanks so much for these videos, really... thank you. -Dave K

Likewise with my Q116! Just love it…✌️🇦🇺
Love it. I am thinking about buying another Q2 just to keep boxed if my current one dies. Maybe a few batteries and an extra charger to also shelf. There is nothing the Q3 offers that makes this better...Maybe the new evf. your MMV but for me, don't need more. perfect replacement for my M6 of 34 years. love the vids

Dont forget the hit you take on your pocketbook. It is a great camera and the build is amazing, but I will just stick with my Canon.
You caught my attention immediately with the NJ Nets jacket! That’s my home, glad I kept watching, your work is great!
Very well said, i'm sure your Q2 has a few years left yet!

If you switch from Leica q2 to Leica m10 m11 with MF lens, what inconvenience will you encounter? I am considering Leica for m11 because the body and lens look better, but I have never shot with Leica, I hope you can answer.
Great video, I might cancel my fuji x100vi pre-order to get leica q2 or q3, any advice?

Take the Q2. It is much cheaper now than the Q3. I have it and it is superb compact camera.
Very nice video! You are capturing very different places very well. And it probably had more to do with you than the Leica!

Great video my fellow Montreal photographer friend ;-) I can relate so much. I also have the Q2 and it’s my most used camera of the past 3 years (even have a video on my channel about this too :-) On the same token, I would love to have you on my show The Visual Storytelling Podcast to discuss your creative process and how this little gem of a camera inspire you to shoot. Let me know of you would be interested and I’ll send you a DM with more details.
