i'd like to thank air sweepers for single handedly ruining some edrag attacks. you weren't able to stop all of them, but for those where you did, it was amazing

I also thank the air sweeper for sometimes saving my queen charges. When the queen takes a quick swerve and the multi inferno locks onto the healers, it knocks them out of range of the multi and saves them.

Yah, in one replay it pushed away the drags and the GW got hit by a seeking airline popping his ability, wasting it, and then the guy lost horribly in the next few seconds

Most important issue of not giving new air sweeper levels is that they can already infinitely stall edrags and balloons from getting close in the right angle. Also, unlike other defensive buildings that heavily relies on their DPS, which have to increase as troops are getting stronger, air sweeper's functionality won't even decline regardless of the troop's level. They perform the same against level 1 and max troops.

Add a weight mechanic to troops. Heavier troops are harder to push. Higher level sweepers have more force and can easily push heavier troops. If a lightweight troops gets blown by a max force sweeper, it'll get blown farther and vice versa

Also to clarify more to my original comment, I think they're perfect in thr sense of adding a third would just ruin the balancing. Yeah you could take them out with things like spells but it'd be better if they had an increase of tile spaces they can push or do push. So they're not totally perfect how they are but perfect with just having 2.

There's nothing better than using lightning spells to take out an air sweeper and air defense or two air sweepers.

I do actually like it, as it's annoying, but only if u spam your troops or dont take the defense into consideration at all when deciding from which side you attack. It's not too hard to deal with but you have to plan around it (bring lightning or freeze) which is why I think its a well designed defense for this game. What I would like to see for the sweeper though are new levels for newer townhalls, the design doesnt really fit anything after th11. With new levels u could also give it some new effect? (Mild damage on top of its usual effect or slowing troops down or sth)

its already a very powerful defense even at TH16 still. the only reason i would wanna see more levels to it is for the aesthetic, but honestly any other buff it would have would be too powerful against most air attacks. most air troops used are already slow.

The most annoying part of air sweepers is that there stuck in the th11 look at higher townhalls

Always been a fan of QC LaLo... Since they were added, I added 2 lightning spells to my army and thats it. In the end the nerf they give to air attacks is -2 spell capacity, which honestly only cost me a star only a handfull of times over many years

Yeah, the introduction of Headhunters was probably worse for you - increases the risk of a catastrophic QC fail

I feel if they dont give air sweepers more levels then just make some skins for them to make them match the th level but only after both are maxed out so that regardless of the skin used you will know that they are maxed out unlike skins fir cannons or archer towers

Even though i think air sweepers are balanced currently to a point where they don't need to be buffed anytime soon man i wish i could upgrade it to see an attackers Edrags sent all the way to narnia and past it.

The worst rage spell placement i saw😂

Me and my eleven lightning spells targeting air sweeper first and then some of the air defenses then spam about 8 e drags and 4 balloons (I usually guarantee at least 1 star always but most time 2-3 stars) 🗿

A cool idea for air sweepers: Starting at th13, air sweepers can get a level. Air sweepers can gain the ability to slow down air units by 25% for 0.25 seconds with a frost effect. That way, it does not make much of an imbalance in the air attacks, but also gives an air sweeper an upgrade to match a town hall's aesthetics. Each upgrade could also increase the slow effectiveness and duration.

I like the idea, but the slow effect would make the air sweeper crazy strong, in addition to buying the defenses more time, the slow effect would also buy the sweeper itself more time to recharge another blow, i would say they will likely give the air sweeper a new level once the lightning spells are able to takedown the sweeper in one hit

TH16 update summary: I haven't been able to 3 star as much since TH7 with only 1 air sweeper.

As lavaloon attacker I absolutely hate the this defense

This is why i spam zap spell to destroy it before i attack

Edrags + race and freeze strategy is the best against max levels air sweeper th11-13

I personally became a ground attacker since th7 from that day I am scared of air sweeper.

Air sweepers are perfect the way there are no need to change them

I dont think adding a 3rd one will make that huge of a difference higher level ..... it only seriously affects edrag spammers .... and to some extent not even that much cause the chain lightning takes them out pretty easily .... given the nature of hero dives and queen charges if they are grouped up tofether they will all get picked off very easily

They should let us buy skins for matching townhall level for air sweepers st cost of resources.same for the other buildings that are now halted at a particular level

It's redirect the troops away from town hall

I use blimp and hydra, and these are easily the most important defenses to look for. You miss one and it locks on? Attack will probably die off quickly

Maybe they could recieve a buff/new level...
