​@@onical4880 Is this a list of the "Best pick" or the "Safest pick", because you can argue who ever is picked #1 and #2 are the "safest pick", because those are normally the most hype picks, and consider to have the most potential and with the "most potential" they are normally the "safest pick", "Safest pick" don't alway mean they are "guarantee" to be good also. 2014, #41 is the "BEST" pick period and if you don't agree, he has a NBA Championship and Finals MvP to prove he is the "Best pick" and he doesn't throw his teammate under the bus when he no shows a elimination game.

The #2 pick frequently ends up being a bust compared to #1 and #3. I suspect that's gonna happen again with this draft. As someone who lives in North Carolina, I was so pissed at Charlotte for drafting for fit. Scoot is clearly the better player than Miller, in my opinion. Obviously, I could end up being wrong. But if Scoot outperforms Miller, that would continue the pattern we've seen throughout draft history. It's not just the 2010s.

I Agree with you, I think Miller will be worse than Scoot, and with Wembanyamas performances in the Summer League, he COULD maybe be a bust, but he probably needs to fit in the American style of play.

@@colinmccarthy8764yes but the video title is literally “how the 3rd pick became the best pick in the 2010’s”, it’s not “how the 3rd pick was the correct top 3 pick” or something like that. Any team if given the choice to redraft the 2014 class would choose jokic over embiid 100 times out of 100. Thus the 2014 3rd pick was not the best possible pick.

@@swirlinq well the #3 pick was the best pick of the 2010’s. Nowhere in this video did he say Jokic was not better than Embiid. And it is partially about the best “top pick” in the 2010’s drafts. Because that’s just how drafts work. You can’t not compare Embiids pick to Luka, JB, JT’s pick because of Jokic. Who was a complete anomaly in terms of Draft picks. You can’t fault Embiid or the Sixers for that. They objectively made the CORRECT pick at #3. You can’t make the case that every team in the top 40 made the wrong pick because there was an anomaly at the 41st.

No fucking shit he’s already widely considered a top 30 player ever and is already a top 8 center of all time. But it’s about top prospects. Notice how he mentioned Oladipo being the clear top prospect in the top 3, but didn’t mention Giannis once who’s also on the same level as Jokic all-time and a top 5 pf (imo) ever already. It’s in the context of top prospects, no one knew about Jokic or Giannis and they just somehow maximized their insane potential that they were unlikely to hit on, which is why they got drafted low
