I loved aperture, the philosophy, the shower thoughts, so much, a hidden gem of KZread. Aperture seemed like a genuine person. Shame to see what he’s resorted for and I worry for other creators.

Almost all Chinese software shares your info with the Chinese government. That is why Discord is worth billions, when it barely earns millions - selling user data. Having said that, I use Discord on a daily. Just some info worth knowing, which makes me trust companies like Amazon more... they do all use cheap labour though and pretty terrible working standards.

They’re constantly loosing money on every order just to get their name out, exploiting underpaid workers, and have violated MANY data privacy TOS that has lead them to get suspended on many app stores. Forced labor, slavery, and child labor still happen. It happens in all countries in South America, a bunch of countries in Africa, China and a bunch of countries in southeast Asia. You do YOUR research. For example a Hershey’s chocolate bar is less than two bucks. Chocolate is INCREDIBLY difficult to harvest and prepare to be turned into chocolate. To go to a factory, it ALL has to be done by hand. So how is chocolate so cheap? Cause they pay the workers in South America almost nothing. We all buy things that were made by people in absolutely horrible conditions all the time. We just choose not to think about it because out of sight out of mind. Amazon does similar practices to Temu now too so that sucks.

Most of the early fans detected this was happening on the first video after the one he made on memes about 2 years ago now. That was when his first corporate sellout happened by a large media company that had other clickbait science spam channels. He deleted his personal instagram to push a more corporate style feed. It has been happening for long, I'm afraid.
