You didn’t give Nils Pollit enough credit for keeping the breakaway leashed for 3 hours by himself..to me that was the most impressive UAE team member performance,besides Poggie.

What an amazing stage and wonderful report!!! Pogi broke the Galibier record and I didn't expect that much snow up there. They all know that descent well I would think. Is this where Bernal and Yates got waved to stop in '19 after hailstorm?

Even if Jonas gets stronger as the tour goes along, it will be too little too late. UAE is also a much stronger team; Jonas will improve, but his lack of support by his teammates, will bury him further.

This will all come down to how UAE team performs and how Visma Lease a Bike performs. Tadej is great but his strong team performance was the story. It was same last year for Jumbo Visma. The team was better than UAE and Tadej was not in best form due to broken wrist. I see it coming down to who has best team in mountains. Today it was UAE. Jonas obviously is not in best condition but he still is better than all but 1-2 riders this year. I don't think Jonas wins this year as long as UAE doesn't have something go wrong whereTadej loses teammates.

So It looks like the stage after Torino stage Tadej gets the jersey..It happened both in Giro and Tour..Vuelta 2025 will probably start from Torino..so let s get ready to see Tadej dressed in red next year 😜

I hope still this year. It has never being done. But if there is one guy who can, its POG.

Pogacar didn't crack on galibier but Granon. But Galibier was definetely a factor 😅

Which side of Galibier it was? Need to look it up.

What was Vingegaard doing without front shifter on a stage like that 😮 Looked like he ran out of gear options more than once. Pogacar was probably too strong but the guys behind shouldn't have been able to catch him so easily on the fast decent.

He most likely used 50-10 which is the same gear length as Tadej's 55-11 so no, he did not run out of gears as much as Tadej would have.
