This made my day. Sometimes, it's difficult to buy this chili because of distant places that I visit. I can now make the stuff from scratch. Thanks!

in all the other 'how it's made videos' about food, there were always chemical tests to ensure quality, the food always goes to a freezer at some point, and there are more machines than humans. here, instead of a freezer you got a fan, bottles are filled by hand, and the only quality control is the boss having a taste.

Another great video triwood. I always thought the spiciness came from chewing on the seeds, not the membrane which the seeds are attached to as mentioned in the video. Now I know why it gets spicier as I reach the top, lol

They had to scoop all of that sauce mixture out of the mixer into a new pot using that tiny scoop? Doesn't make sense to me. Why not have a liquid vacuum device or release valve or something.

Because this video is misleading. First, the sauce isn’t worth that much and they wouldn’t recoup the cost of that equipment in a low cost and low technology area in Thailand. When it comes to transferring it between one pot and the next, they only scoop a percentage out of the top before they pour the rest. Like if you have a full jug, it tends to spill and run down the outside if it’s too full when you pour. To be fair I like that the use simple methods to make a great sauce. Fair play to them.

Delicious. This factory must be producing for local or specialist consumption because no way would a factory that small be producing enough for export. The usual stuff we get in the supermarkets is probably way inferior to this one.
