Super 17 is one of my favourite Characters, would've been interesting if 17 had used Dr. Gero's technology to upgrade himself for the Tournament of Power and he became Super 17.

I think they should be red if actually pointing to something, and blue if it's just an attention draw. Sounds fair to me, that way I know if it's relevant or not. 🤷

The thumbnail with the red dot pointing at nothing is hilarious.

We also saw 17 when trunks got rid of them when he went back to his timeline

What I like about Super Android 17 is that this guy's power almost seemed to have no limit and the way that the two evil doctors explain about how they made him where he even surpassed that Cell itself is an achievement. If I was the place Super Android 17 anywhere it would definitely be close to Majin Android 21. I mean there has been some even fan art of what Android 18 would look like if she had a super android form as well.

I think in one dub "Goku thought Super 17 was showing off by taking the attacks until Goku came to a conclusion that he might be absorbing the energy so he decided to test that theory with the 10x Kamehameha.

Baby was the best villain in gt and his arc was undoubtedly the best in gt. Which is funny since he has a lot of similarities to frieza. The main difference between them is how they was both introduce in the story. Frieza was at the top of the world, until he meet goku and soon meet his downfall. Baby started from noting and had to work his way up and could've made frieza level of status in the universe, if goku didn't stop him with a new form

I always loved Super 17's design and demeaner since he's mostly chill but menacing. Also thought the tick he has of clearing his hair from his face was also a nice touch.

Dr.Gero mentioned that 17 was originally supposed to be his ultimate creation but he had design flaws that kept from reaching his full potential. So by merging with another 17, who is purely cybernetic, the design flaws would be corrected, and 17 would be able to reach his perfect state. However one of my many gripes with Super 17, is Hell Fighter 17. How in the world did Gero and Myuu find the parts to even build him? If they were able to build a freakin workshop in Hell, then King Yemma sucks at his job 😭

In this frame 6:47 Super 17 looks like Eren as the founding titan. Maybe that's where Attack on Titan author got his founding titan design.

I like on DB Heroes, Super 17 absorbed Android 18 and his hair turned blond!

1. If old villains like Frieza, Cell, Nappa, Dr. Gero & even General Rilldo would come back from hell, why didn't Baby come back? 2. I saw your what if Baby Vegeta went Super Saiyan 4 after his Golden Great Ape form to combat Super Saiyan 4 Goku. My question is what if during the Super 17 fight, if Bulma decided to make a second Android 18 to fuse with the first one to create Super 18 two fight Super 17

Super 17's speed feats reminded me of Jiren's speed feats in the T.o.p He was able to teleport to where Goku was going in his instant transmission before he got there 🔥

I hated Super Android 17 because during Z or somewhere around that time, it said that Android 17 was a park ranger and had a family, so I hated how they took that all away and made him a villain just being used. Super Android 17 was alright, but I just didn't like him being a villain. That is why I loved Android 17 in Super, having him being his own person and personality and having a family and basically becoming one of the Z-Fighters. I wouldn't have minded Super Android 17 or other Super Androids as long as they were not villains. It was good that Android 17 was not really evil. He was just being controlled by Dr. Myuu. The fact that he was redeemable was fine. But overall, I would have liked it if it was a more noble thing like he resisted Dr. Myuu's control and helps Goku take him down and sacrifice himself in a cool way, maybe like Vegeta did against Buu. I just believe that Super Android 17 could have been better.

I hated how *human-based* , I repeat again, *human-based* androids don't have ki and they cannot be sensed, but actual fully synthetic robots like the ones in the Tournament of Power and the forces of Dr. Myuu like the Robot Mecha Force characters and General Rilldo had ki ? It just doesn't make any sense.

Absorbing the power of a Universe, or even combining the power of two Universes, does not make someone Multiversal but rather Multi-Universal. By that logic, that would mean that someone who can destroy multiple Stars can destroy a Galaxy, which isn't the case seeing as how Cell's strongest attack was only Solar System (i.e High Star) Level.

Like you said, Super 18 should've been made a thing, so that she could help Goku take down Super 17. It would've both made for a fantastic story point where 18 was potentially able to get through to her brother, as well as the ending wouldn't have been as stupid.(my opinion, it was wacc). Bulma could've easily remade an 18 copy, which would continue the idea that 17 is still stronger..but it would also allow 18 to be able to have a fighting chance. It's been like 15 years since she met 18, so it's not like she would've had no idea about how to recreate an android with how intelligent she is.

After hearing the ideas here, I think it would've been nice to have someone like Bulma reverse engineer the Super 17 process to make a Super 18, or just spam blutz waves. I'll eve take it a step further and have the Z (GT?) fighters figure out an exploit where they shoot all theur strongest ki attacks at Super 18 to absorb to surpass 17, and proceed to neutralize threat with pure hands and feet. Not to mention potential character interactions! Oh well, only 6 episodes.

Super 17 was my favorite charaecter I was him for Halloween when I was 17 years old is like to see super 17 return in super but in a diffrent story reboot like how they did with Broly I feel if goku black some how returnd I feel andoid 17 would be the key to stop goku black as super 17

A Super Android Saga woulda been great for GT 18s character woulda been a favorite forsure

Super 17 is not the fusion of two Android 17s. He is the fusion of Android 17 & Hell Fighter 17. Unlike Android 17 who was an artificial human, Hell Fighter 17 was a machine mutant.

Thats the big problem with GT, the greatest designs, the dumbest and non sense history line.

It boggles my mind how this community casually downplays the power of Super 17. Super 17 is a hybrid model. Just like how there are cars that are electric/gas hybrids. Super 17 is an infinite/absorption model combined! He can absorb ANY ki based attack and because he's an infinite model the ki he absorbs makes his ceiling higher. Imagine being a Saiyan that gets stronger, not through training, but by simply powering up. No limits. No power cap. You just power up and get stronger endlessly. That's Super 17. He's the ultimate enemy and makes every other threat that came after look like a joke. Goku Black? Super 17 just absorbs his ki blasts and it's a wrap. Jiren? His arrogance would allow him to absorb so much ki Jiren would get washed. Moro? Bitch please. Super 17 would casually wash anyone that comes his way because of his design and it wouldn't even be a contest.

I never like Super 17, it never made sense to me how a fusion between 2 android 17 was so strong and his design is mid imo

This statement is so true in every way. Imagine a fusion of 2 Android 17 is Stronger than Cell who absorbed a lot of Humans to fight on Par with Android 17, and successfully absorbed him with Android 18 and became Perfect, then suddenly 2 Android Fusion is Stronger than Perfect Cell? super 17 shouldn't even have existed in the first place.

Amazing character design. Very poor plot execution

I can't take GT seriously because, to me, everything feels so stiff and poorly choreographed. In terms of story it was fine but in terms of execution and dialogue it was not. Also the English dub of 18 crying over Krillin is just SO cringe to me. The delivery is so hammed up and phony. I don't know if the Japanese is better but I assume it is. Also, also, I hate all GT music.

Thanks for your opinion but I disagree with all of it. The Japanese did make a difference for me. I see it as a more serious adventure because there are no safety nets.

@@SaiyanScholar Mainly it's the fight choreography. I could forgive EVERYTHING if the fights were better. Goku smacking the hell out his kids might be the only fight segment I genuinely enjoyed in the whole series. Everything else feels like generic ki blast spam, punch/kick spam, vanishing, basically all very, very easy things to animate. In Z they're bobbing and weaving and the perspective pans around at cool angles. Their bodies are much more fluid. You see their whole body twist and contort into their punches. Super 17 might as well be a cardboard cutout compared to Z's Cell or Android 19 battles. I don't think of martial arts when I think of GT. Super just barely cuts the mustard with its high budget moments and only in the anime; manga Super fights are about equal with GT's... give or take. Drawn worse but with better choreography.

Oh yeah. Z is the gold standard for epic battles whilst OG is the gold standard for martial arts execution. GT fight execution was not bad. Mainly gimmicks but there were good gritty moments where certain hits were very dramatic. From Goku getting hurt by Baby and also being beat up so badly that glass pierced him. Nuova was good dynamics proving Goku had come along way to win against a faster opponent. At surface level, GT seems massively flawed. But deep down (despite there being some flaws which all series uniquely have) there ARE meaning and messages within that I liked a lot about the core. I felt the Japanese script and music supported the drama. What good is Top Gun without the original OST and correct lines? 👌

@@SaiyanScholar Also let me correct myself: I like GT's dark metal rhythms in the English dub. I was never partial to the Japanese score of DB after Z started (for the original series it was fitting though); Faulconer really gave it its own feeling. I can take or leave the Japanese score but for some reason I find Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku to be grating to my ears. I'm sure most will say that's a pleb take but I stand by it.

I think that's a prime example of how the fandom will always be split because of what they want from Dragon Ball. And how they see it. For me, Dan Dan is the embodiment of DB along with Cha La. I like Faulconer for Z, despite it being cheese, because that was the first one I grew up with but I'll always see past that.
