Quick way to summarise Vegetas struggle against goku up to this point is basically "If you're always chasing someone you'll never surpass them." He was always following Goku never trying to go in his direction until now, he tried Beating Goku in his own game when he could have started another.

is it just me or this is where its gonna go now....because ego means thinking of yourself and destruction etc and gokus inistict means being one with calm and tranquil....that goku and vegeta will surpass all others and become extreme powerhouses....then theres going to be an old school naruto vs sasuke plot where theyre now going to have to fight eachother again....maybe.

Even though the English translations for UI do talk about "calm" I think "detached" is probably a better framing. In UI, the user is unexcitable, a pure observer, not even attached to their own self and so able to let go and have the body take over. In UE, it's the opposite - you have clung to the essential self to the exclusion of all else- UI is Ego Death, UE is the opposite.

I see it as a conceptual type of transformation/power up, in UE Vegeta will be as strong as he needs to be to push back the baddie of turn before the baddie powers up and Goku or Gohan beats the baddie. You could call it the ultra jobber power up.

I’d like to disagree about the last few minutes of the vid, the misconception of UI being calm mind and dodge, UI in simple terms is your body fighting for its or acting on its own terms whether it is for defence or offence, the auto dodge is what circulating around community because of what Whis “their bodies will always avoid danger” once mustered UI and that is somehow forever tied with UI is but that’s ignoring the entire context why Whis said this in the very first place, he said this after drawing his logo on them, highlighting that there’s reaction is very slow and the only reason for that is that they think before they move but if their body movements weren’t bound by thoughts, they should be to react to these, so in actuality, UI is having body making decisions for the wielder, whether it for defence or offence. And you said we don’t have enough to conclude that Goku’s UI wasn’t evolving his heart is not calm, which is a no because there’s no other requirement for UI except for keeping your heart and tranquil basically being in state of right mindedness, so that is enough information to make a conclusion because Goku was battling his emotions through the entire arc which after learning of his people’s pride he took advantage of the situation, and decided to use these emotions to create a variant of UI which is too barbaric to be UI but that’s exactly the point creat a UI version that stick to his roots. In conclusion UE is stronger than a not calm heart UI and on par with TUI because they were almost equally if not equally against the old guess. And now conclusion UE as you have already explained it will require Vegeta to be in an ego state where he’s heart and soul are completely free from the shackles of his past and regrets, that should be his right mindness and that is how his technique should exploit that power that is limitless, he should do away with morality issues and act based on instincts, which is why the “the power derived from instincts is unbound” Both Goku and Vegeta simply need the state of right mindness to go deeper in their respective techniques, Vegeta’s UE only getting stronger through taking damage, to me sounds like a misconception like UI being a simple auto dodge technique. Vegeta getting stronger when he’s getting pounded does help him get into that state of “enjoying battle like saiyans always do” and that in turn helps Vegeta revitalise Vegeta’s will to win and enjoy himself in a battle without worrying about what damage it would cause to the environment, the only existing instincts is killer instincts. In theory it would be more like an old car that needed to be kicked started but once it gets going it no longer needs that push.

So what would be one of the biggest gains for vegeta for his Ultra Ego would be to either increase his durability/health/stamina or wish to become immortal so no mattery how much he takes damage or has a lethal blow, he won't die.

Nah they would never wish for immortality would be against their character. He could use Haki energy to negate a certain amount of damage he takes or he can learn a way to use Forced spirit fission with UE

I think the biggest blow to vegetas ego had to be that ass whoopin he got from 18 or maybe perfect cell.

That's also the reason as to why he made gluttony a part of himself. He literally destroys everithing he takes to make it energy. Even his own thoughts. In the end, he will destroy everything if everithing goes as always. For Vegeta, it would be translated into something among these lines: You are a damn warrior, stop thinking about useless concepts. Fight, improve fighting. Take everything from the fight. Just think on the fight. Even the pain you feel in the fight is your fight. FIght, and make all that power yours by force damn it. These freaking Sayans...

Good video. Could you make a video explaining Ki and God Ki? I find it weird when Goku red form fought Beerus their blows almost destroyed the universe (Beerus at 70% power?) And then Blue form shows up (even Kaioken and evolved Blue) and it looks so casual and 'weak'... I can't make sense of it. Shouldn't both Hit, Blue Vegeta/Goku be able to smash Beerus without any big issues in those forms?

I think a very good hakai attack can narrow the power level difference between a God of destruction and anyone else that doesnt know how to resist that technique. Vegeta could erase Beast Gohan even if Gohan is stronger because Gohan is not trained to counter that attack in any way. Goku can possibly resist an hakai attack with angelic power level. Frieza could possibly resist a hakai attack since he has some experience with god of destruction manipulation even if he cant generate it hiself. Still waiting for a "Frieza Force" sort of power level to be tapped into possibly what Black Frieza is building up to be. Characters like Brolly would get erased.

I really like ultra ego. I'm honestly not a fan of the name, I think the could've come up with something special and different than Gokus form but other than that. It goes so well with Vegeta not only cause he's angry and lusts for battle, but mostly because of the aspect of him getting stronger with every blow. All we have seen through our dragon ball is Vegeta be the beat stick, and get his @ss kicked by everyone. At least now, if your gonna beat Vegeta up, it's only gonna make him stronger. So seeing him get beat up now, we all know what's about to go down!
