    I used to train at the same gym as Terry for years. I have personally seen him rep 365 in the bench and 225 in the hang clean. The last time I saw him in the gym he repped 315 on the incline and 550 in the deadlift in the same workout. He trains fast and does a lot of athletic moves.

    I’m a huge fan of his. Great dude. It’s pretty obvious after watching the incline, his flat bench is somewhere around the 350 range tops. . Squat would be much less too especially if going to full depth. Probably around 345-360.

    My guess is he's benching around at least 360-380lbs for a 1RM maybe 405 on a good day around 525-550 for deadlift and around 400lbs for a squat in his form probably wouldn't get that under proper form though not bad for a man in his 50s though I'm sure 30 year old Terry was a beast. I'm 28 and I can only do 245lbs for 7 reps an 225lbs for 12. I'm 5'11 and 220lbs

It’s in Maryland. It’s weird, I know, and it’s totally fine not knowing and this video isn’t about that. It’s just watching this and seeing the Redskins helmet coming from the state of Washington was funny to me. The pin should have been placed near, but to the south west a bit of the Philadelphia pin. I mean no offense. Washington DC is a very strange concept and I completely understand how this mistake can be made. Love your videos and your analysis.

    Love this video! Do you ever consider using the conversion charts from reps to 1rpm? I.e. His theoretical deadlift 1RM, his most legit looking lift would be expected to be about 530lbs, based on a conversion chart.

  • @StrengthUniverse

    @StrengthUniverse

    Жыл бұрын

    There are approximately 8 different formulas for calculating 1RM and I use one that uses an average of all 8 but these are always just theoretical and only realistically work for sets of less than 8 reps that were taken to failure. There are many other factors that they do not take into account for example Terry's footwear.

    Eugenios is an incredible athlete but Guinness World Record is not well respected in the lifting community due to their specific lack of knowledge in strength sports that has caused them to incorrectly issue World Records on numerous occasions. An example of this is clear even in Eugenious WR; all street lifting (calisthenics) world records should have weight classes or as a minimum list the bodyweight of the athlete which Guinness do not. Mathew Zlat has official world records under various federations with dips of 175kg and 190kg and unlike Guinness they take into account the weight of the athlete which is very important.

    @@MRmOnThER322 isn’t that the point of incline press though? Use the pecs AND anterior delt? Each to their own though, I guess. I just think if you’re using a 15 degree incline, you may as well just do flat bench

  • @MRmOnThER322

    @MRmOnThER322

    @@nbaldwin45 No, the point of incline bench is to focus the clavicular head of the pectoralis majoris (the upper chest). Anterior delt work is just a consecuence of the angle, doing it at 45 degrees ends up splitting the focus to the deltoids even more, a little incline is enough. Personally I prefer 30 degrees, but studies show that 15 degrees work as well. This doesn't mean that you can't develop a good upper chest by doing it at 45 degrees, it is just less efficient.

I see some people putting like he wasn’t a strong Dorian claimed in the interview with Patrick bet David that he benchpress 500 pounds 10 times so if he did that, that makes him a lot stronger than Ronnie Coleman, who everyone wants to claim is the strongest bodybuilder, which I don’t believe he is cause Stan Efferding would blow Ronnie out of the water.
