Outstanding Job IvaN! One of my favorite heroes of all-time! I remember when she made her debut, I knew as a Blerd, Marvel made her OP! The villain @ 22:48 is Maelstrom! Who temporarily gained power to be at @ 27:55 Level! For the last 30+ years, I've wondered if Monica could become the wavelength of Cyclops' 'Optic Blast'! EXCELCIOR!

Doubt The Marvels will do her any good will. Storm also suffers a similar issue. Solid concept, design, and power set but somehow will always be regulated to side/background character.

Much Love for this introspective of Monica. I've been a fan since the 80's when she took up the mantel of Capt Marvel. I've ALWAYS known what a bad ass she is. Truthfully she could be beat Carol. She could technically be everywhere, all at once. She is light, illuminating a room means she is everywhere there is light, without form, like water filling up any space. That & she can still attack you and react at beyond light speed. AND can be intangible whilst still being able to attack. Man Kizaru is looking a bit more OP every day but she is broken 😂

Black women are clearly not comic readers so hire some popular black writers, directors like Spike Lee, Issa Rae to write stories about these superheroes.

Well Light is actually stronger than darkness or night, so im not surprised. But Nyx is a goddess, immortal, so for Monica to concern her and possibly make her feel hurt or even uncomfortable, means Monica is no longer a mere mortal in the comics.
