It's probably why they decided to give him a Lifebringer form. The Big Bang spews energy all over the place creating space, time and matter. Once that's done, he becomes the Devourer of Worlds. He becomes the Big Crunch. He coalesces everything back into the Cosmic Egg.

Galactus has the potential power of the entire universe. I would argue that with his ability to absorb all forms of energy he could put himself above the cosmic abstracts if he wished to do so. After all, cosmic abstracts represent only parts of the universe. Earth alone has several sky fathers - many more than just Odin and Zeus. Sky fathers are bound to the planets their mythology is based on. There are countless planets in the universe. Even a fraction of these planets are too many to count. They too have mythologies and with those mythologies, they have sky fathers. All the sky fathers combined on earth were nothing compared to the Celestials when they tried to defend Earth. They should be less than nothing compared to Galactus.

@@too_official6194 The key word is "should". Take some examples into account. (1) Dr. Doom once stole Galactus' powers and defeated and stole pre-nerfed Beyonder's powers (Secret Wars 1). This is the Beyonder before retconned that destroyed the entirety of the Celestials as if they were a morning work-out. He also destroyed Death (considered Galactus' "sister" equal) and since Celestials can be killed, Death is a higher order than the Celestials. (2) In a "What If" issue, Korvac stole Galactus' powers and wiped out all life in the universe with the ultimate nullifier, turning Eternity into an empty husk. (3) Galactus was also able to defeat the Phoenix force on another occasion. The Phoenix Force is a singular being equal to the potential power of life within the multiverse. Galactus once claimed even though he was universal and not a multiversal single entity, he like the PF, has power pretty much the same regarding life. If it lives, he can absorb its power if he wanted - including his counterparts found in other universes. Including Celestials & Beyonders that are also capable of dying. (4) I cannot remember his name but I believe it was a "What If" comic where Franklin Richards had a son who made Franklin himself look weak. This son was corrupted by evil and on course to destroy the entirety of the multiverse. He was defeated and caged. Galactus kept him as a food source for the rest of eternity. Galactus never again had to devour planets for food. (5) Not sure if you count Stan Lee's word, but Stan himself has said more than once that Galactus is potentially the most powerful entity of all in Marvel outside of "The One Above All". My argument is similar to Stan Lee's. Galactus follows a certain code of Ethics where he won't absorb (and kill) certain high level beings even though he has been proven more than capable of doing so on many occasions.

I'd say a good scale for galactus would 1. Hungry When he's hungry it's safe to say he's multiversal - multiversal+, as he contended with odin and got knocked out for a couple of panels he woke up faster than odin 2. Well fed It's safe to say a well fed galactus is at least low complex multiversal as he's taken on low level celestials before 3. Fully fed A fully fed galactus should definitely be high metaversal as he should be on parr with eternity
