I think the anvil is more impressive than the wrecking ball. Because the wrecking ball being round, has its entire surface area to sort of form into the tape. The anvil seemed like it was just gonna rip right through it.

Actually, the table being on top of loose substrate helps absorbing a lot of the force, as it pushes its legs into the sand. The results would've been different if it was tested on a table atop a concrete floor.

​@@masonavery3405He just tested flex seal if I remember correctly! Flex tape would work alot better because of the fibers. It still wouldn't be great and would never stop rifle cartridges but I bet a pretty thick piece would stop some pistol cartridges.

The reason the flex tape never breaks is because its made of donated nokias. They never tell you these things in the commercials

Flex tape just saved me a lot money on house repairs. I had roof damage and a glass door break during a really bad storm but had nothing to fix it with so I decided I’d try flex tape. It worked really well to cover up missing shingles and even kept the glass door together so I could shut it again and keep wind out of the house. Saved me a bunch of money from water damage that could’ve happened to my ceiling

I did the math based off of some general assumptions. Lets say that the position he dropped it is 200 feet high. I did some research, and found a cast iron anvil that weighs about 88 lbs and is about 16 inches long (based off of the average size of an adult human hand). The flex tape is estimated to be around 2 feet off of the ground. This means that from that 198 foot long fall, after 3.7 seconds, the flex tape withstood roughly 392 newtons of force. (This is based off of estimates) This took me an hour, and no i do not have a life. Thanks for reading this

I had a dream I met the dudes of this channel as they hit a subscriber milestone- they invited me to a party to celebrate, but it turned out that it was actually a scam to get fans together for an obstacle course survival challenge where the winner gets to join the smosh channel. The maze was laid out like a McDonald’s play place, but really huge and you had to get out as fast as possible because there was a monster chasing us that kinda reminded me of Huggy. It was really uncomfortable and I woke up in a panic because I made it to the end, but everyone else died and it really freaked me out cause smosh and these dudes were so happy to see the carnage.

Miss the tower videos. Although I do think the wrecking ball needs a do over on a more solid surface. The sand definitely dissipated some of the force.

As a reminder, the ground broke before the flex tape.

I've used flex tape when I worked at a hardware store to help a trucker seal up his metal trailer frame ha; we used like 4 rolls but dude came back months later still perfect.
