Definitely could have. From his first big swing, Matthew went to 16 but Giada was swinging at Esmond for 3; flipping that over puts him to 13. Getting Esmond is harder; he has to move the Sword of the Animist onto another angel and then swing everyone except Giada at Esmond.

I don't actually have it on hand because I tweaked it after this to play CEDH (lol no don't do it with Voja) but this version went hard with Changelings and Elves 🙂

Have you guys got a deck list for that angel deck?? Looks like a bunch of fun to play😂

I hate Voja with every cell of my body. It's really too overpowered, if no one draws a boardwipe it's simply over. Also having white means it could draw into something to protect the board, single target removal become inefficient cause of the ward 3, and recasting it will not be a problem since elves produce a bigillion mana. I think its the strongest aggro deck ever regarding casual edh, don't know about cedh but sometimes I feel powerless playing against it unless I bring something as broken at the table

As someone with a Voja deck I tend to agree. It seems way too powerful for a casual game,but nowhere near strong enough for a cedh table. I tend to run it at my local LGS for commander tournaments.

@@thandur well running it to win tournaments is understandable and at least you recognize it's way too broken. I run him in the 99 of my Ur Dragon changelings deck and depending on my boardstate it wins by itself, but obviously its not like having him in the command zone. It's like one of those broken custom cards made by people who don't understand anything about balance except it is actually real. One of the guys in my group runs it and my response is using control heavy decks or removal heavy decks, anything else is almost useless

Pretty terrible in cEDH because lol aggro decks. Which is kind of its own problem; it's not one of those commanders that gets regulated out like Kinnan and friends because it doesn't actually work in those tiers, so it hangs out in Awkward Pubstomper Limbo.
