Life isn’t easy for Aprilia. Because there is limited support in her community on Palu in Indonesia for people with a physical disability like hers, she had to wait a long time to go to school in a special place for children with disabilities. Sometimes she misses days when her father has to work and can’t drive her on his motorbike.
But Aprilia loves to learn - and sponsors are helping to give her the best chance to succeed. She joins the children’s activities and extracurricular programmes that the sponsorship programme runs in her community and her mum Fatnur says it means the world to Aprilia.
