I'm freaking old (over 50), and think this is the best metal vocal album I've heard all year. So incredibly cohesive and just fantastic. Don't care if it was sampled, or made in tupperware and tinfoil.

Mainstream recognition is absolutely vital to our genre’s survival. Without it, investments aren’t made which is exactly how we got in the rut of everything sounding alike. The same plug ins and virtual instruments make for very similar music and a consequential lack of interest. Congrats to Spiritbox for achieving the charts!

So true! Metallica was huge for pushing Metal back into the mainstream, and launched a wave of new bands etc. Pop and Hip-Hop have nothing new to offer anymore. The best days for both of those genres are stuck in the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. Metal needs to be looked at a lot closer once again!

I couldn't agree more. Having a band re-define what people call "radio rock" is what we need. Seeing bands like Spiritbox being played on Octane gives me hope that more bands of the scene get that mainstream recognition and I can turn on Octane without hearing 5FDP every day.

I enjoyed this interview a lot. You’re a way cool down to earth couple & great musicians. You are as unique as the music. Listening to it and then hearing it live is quite an experience. This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. These questions (and the answers too, wow) made Spiritbox even more interesting. I’m a single father of an awesome autistic son. I’m a school bus driver - that is rewarding but does get intense at times. This is one of those bands that inspires me to keep playing guitar and keep finding my own groove - not only in music but in life. I’ve always been a fan of artists who create art for the sake of what they’re communicating to the world. Music is one of the things that makes people feel the human experience. You really got down deep to the heart of what really matters simply by having an appreciation for Spiritbox.

The sequencing is what impressed me the most, about this album - it really tied the album together and allowed the amazing production to shine, as amazing as it did. The flow was flawless. It didn’t have the clunkiness, majority of albums have, when switching from one track to the next. I, fully, believe Eternal Blue set such a fantastic example, for exemplary album production, truly.

Maybe there's so little to criticize from such a good album that they fixate on something as insignificant as sequencing.

The sequencing was what really caught my attention, the first time I heard this album - it’s absolutely immaculate. I’d say the top thing I listen for, when checking out and album/band for the first time, is their sequencing. Majority of the time, I’m pretty disappointed- which, is often why I don’t listen to albums all the way through. If an album’s, simply, gonna feel like a playlist of the same band, where it seems there isn’t much consideration to the flow - I might as well put it in the order I want; what difference does it make? One of the best metal album sequencing - and all around album; as well as my very first metal album, I ever purchased.. Killswitch Engage - As Daylight Dies.

The transition from the end of Hurt you to the start of Yellowjacket is great, it feels like another section of the same song.

This band is insanely talented. One of the best bands around. They're blowing up so quickly. When you form in 2017, then have covid hit 2020 and be out of commission all of that time then to this is awesome. I can't wait to see them. People have their own opinions but there's very few bands that have the same sound as they do. I discovered them in 2019 and couldn't believe what I was hearing. The first song I heard was the Mara Effect 1 and I couldn't stop listening from there. That's one of my favorite songs and I know this will never not be in my top 3 favorite bands. I have friends and we're all just ready and waiting for a tour and to snatch up tickets as quickly as possible. Everyone in the band compliment each other so well and it's just amazing. Spiritbox deserve all of the recognition and success they deserve. Courtney is honestly one of my favorite people in the world, and all of my comments are 100% genuine. 💣💥
