I just signed with Tesla for a 10KW 11.745AC with 2 Powerwall 3 batteries for backup because I live in Florida that is the cap without paying extra to FPL and also staying under those number stops me from adding an insurance rider to cover FPL lines or Transformers. Plus to install a propane generator at my house would cost about 20 thousand, plus always needing to pay for propane.

We have solar on the roof and we just got approved for the Powerwall 3.

We are seriously considering battery backup for our solar system during emergency electric outages. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

I am thinking of a backup battery system, but not sure if it's worth it yet as we still have a 1:1 net metering here in PA. My current solar system is a ground mount which makes it easier. I would like to know if there are any battery system that you would recommend that can be installed outside. Here in PA, we do get snow, and reach some times in the negative temps at night. Also, I just recently bought a Ford Lighting and I find I'm using more electricity and I'm not longer net positive. So rather than spending more money on solar panels, I would like to know if having a battery storage setup if that will help in becoming net positive.

That pointguard home backup system mentions V2X capable EV bidirectional charging but I couldn't find details on their website about it. Are you able to find any information on that?

I can't get the PointGuard website to load at all -- Chromium or Firefox. Just a blank page.
