You mention the need for all processes and procedures to be scalable but to get there you needed to make some major jumps, away from sheets for one. Having worked with a company that was experiencing similar growth, it was frustrating that they clung to the processes that started them on the road. Too many times national meetings were filled with statements like, “back when I worked out of a truck” or “back when we had a small shop.” What worked for a single truck or shop was not the best way for a national company to do business. And yes, I was looking at Maps, sheet, photos and multiple folders for every project.
